Location, location, location. Sitting in the hot tub with great views. Everything provided for even the biggest of family gatherings.

The house is on the top of a hill, with amazing view on the castle and the river. There is good food around and lots of hiking routes. The house itlself is large and comfortable, the owners live next door and are happy to help if you need anything. The hot tub was a hit. People around are very friendly. My only wish would be for the beach to be suitable for swimmers, but there are lots of sandy beaches in 30 min driving distance. I cannot help but recommend the place to spend your holidays.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

BRING THIS BACK. Over the years I have been to so many festivals and Middlelands was hands down THE BEST. Never have I felt so safe due to the friendly security at a festival. I never had to worry about water, there was so much to do in between sets. Best. Festival. Ever.

This house is absolutely stunning, located in the beautiful and atmospheric town of Laugharne. It is absolute perfection, and the hosts are wonderful too, with clear communication. As good as it gets. 100% pure gold. We’ll be booking for next year.

Grand parents escaped to the annexe, which was rented separately, well equipped, bed linen beautiful , kitchen brilliant for larger numbers, two ovens, two fridges , great area, laugherne is special, and close to those important beaches for the little ones . We stayed here for a week with our two kids (aged 1 & 3) and had a really great time - the place is modern and well finished, and in a great location for beach trips, exploring local towns or seeing various attractions for children (Dinosaur World was a favourite)! The hosts were also very attentive and helpful throughout. We’d highly recommend staying here!

A magnificent home with fantastic contained garden and pool area for entertaining and family

We were a family group of 8 and found the house spacious with a massive garden The front of the house caught the mid-day sun (in February) and there was plenty of seating outside to enjoy it. With small children care was needed with 2 ponds and ditches and a stream, but overall the garden was beautiful. It has been described as a “ bohemian bolt hole “ which is a very good description. The interior was quirky, but also up to the minute with technology.The bedrooms were very comfortable with tv’s and coffee makers and modern on suites. It has a variety of facilities to suit young and old. The games room and bar were well equipped and had a Sonos sound system and the kitchen and dining room were roomy well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our holiday.

FOOTPRINTS is a lovely flat in a great location , the walk to the beach just opposite is amazing. The flat is immaculate, well decorated, great storage space and has everything needed for 2. can not fault it in any way .

Very nice accomodation , it is in the country, but shops and restaurants at 5 minutes distance by car. Populair Tenby is about a 30 minutes drive. Hosts are very friendly, the house is set up with everything you need. Absolutely fantastic!

We visited The Cors as 2 families and were thrilled with the house. It had everything we needed for a wonderful week away, a home away from home, but better. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great little bar and pool table and lovely cosy cinema room. We had a minor issue which Jac helped replace quickly and without fuss.
Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, lovely to sit outside with a glass of wine in the sun enjoying the garden. Great location within easy reach of the lovely Pendine Sands, a local dog friendly beach with lots of amenities, and walking distance of some great pubs and restaurants.
All in all a great break and would recommend.

Our first holiday since our son was born almost 3 years ago - the property was clean, spacious, and just about everything we needed for our long weekend with our family. We visited 3 beaches and had a brilliant time - would definitely return!

It was a perfect house to welcome our family. Everything was perfect - even better than the photos. The house is truly special, like stepping back in time, but with all the mod cons. Everyone loved it.
The host kindly kept the pool heating on, even at end of October, so that was special for the kids.
The surrounding area is very beautiful, so perfect location.

York Lodge is an amazing house which was beautifully presented and in immaculate condition.
Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

This cottage is everything you could ask for if you’re looking for a cosy and peaceful place in the countryside with gorgeous views. Perfect base for exploring nearby and the private indoor pool was the cherry on top. We hope to be back again one day!

A great location - as with every small town, parking can be an issue - we were out of season so local car park was ok.
Beware of the coastal path to Saundersfoot if it has been raining for a few months (we stayed in March) as it is really no longer a path, more of a water and mud assault course :-)
Tenby is Tenby - a fishing/seaside town town that seems to be able to hold its own well - enough locally to keep most folk happy - and locals seemed genuinely friendly

It has been a lovely week staying at the Old School. The house is very well presented and has all you need for your stay. The Kitchen is well equipped making it a ready home from home. The beds were very comfortable. It’s just a short drive to local beaches - the only downside is that you can not walk safely from the house to neighbouring towns. We would return to stay here for sure - thank you for having us!

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

The lighting is a little low which made getting ready a bit tricky to do make up. The only suitable light was in the bathroom.

Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

Very pleasant apartment with two spacious well furnished rooms. Cosy with good heating should it be needed. Laugharne is a lovely place with plenty of good walks and local facilities for food and drink.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

I booked this house for a birthday trip for my Mum and nieces. The communication prior to arriving was great. It provided lots of info not just about the house but also about the area and restaurants etc.

The house is filled with character and history but restored to a incredibly high standard.

The bedrooms and en suites with lovely and the sitting room and snug just wonderful. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and stylish.

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have visited Laugharne several times over the last eight years, and this years stay was definitely enhanced by our stay at Gwalia House. A stunning property with a boutique hotel feel. Couldn’t fault anything. My family & I just loved it! Already looking forward to a repeat in 2021!

Our long weekend stay was great. Extremely comfortable accommodation, like home from home. Everything about the property was to our liking. Plenty of space for us to relax and all the amenities we could wish for. Will definitely book again.

Our stay at great Welsh was great, we enjoyed our stay including clean and tidy bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful garden, and amazing view. We also enjoyed hot tub. There were lots of things for kids and other things to play sports. Also host left us many things to eat and drink. Overall it was a perfect house and I recommend it if anyone wants to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host.

Spent two days at the Lloret, it is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Laugharne. Really well presented accommodation in an amazing location. The view of the castle and the Taf Estuary are amazing. It is also a short walk from the Grist and the castle, so it is easy to walk into town for some food or a drink. We had space to park four cars without any problem, and finding it is very easy. The owners were very friendly and came over to help with the hot tub after the first day. Overall would highly recommend that anybody looking to visit Laugharne or the surrounding area visit the Lloret.

Well what can I say about our stay at the bungalow apart from WOW! It’s is definitely modern and it is situated perfectly with beautiful views throughout the whole bungalow.

It has everything you need from comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, spacious kitchen plus of course the large hot tub, you can't help but enjoy yourselves.

It was clean, with plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the hot tub! There was coffee, tea, scones and Prosecco which was a lovely touch.

I would highly recommend.

Our stay at The Old School House in Carmarthenshire was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with underfloor heating and a boiling water tap, was impressive, and we were greeted with a lovely hamper.
The living room had a cosy sofa facing an 83-inch OLED TV with a great sound system. Every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suites was finished to the highest standard.
The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day, and it was here my partner proposed—I’m happy to say, I said yes!
The house is easy to find, with ultra-fast gigabit broadband and immaculate cleanliness.
We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

We had a great stay at the cottage. It was even more lovely than the photo's. There was lots of space and it worked well for two couples. The living room was so cosy especially with the fire going, great garden for doggie too. Very handy to have a Co-op a short drive down the road and a bonus that it's open till 10pm. If you're planning on eating out for dinner at any local pubs it's probably best to book in advance especially if you're taking doggie. That said we had a great meal at the Savoy Country Inn which is a 15 minute drive away. I'd definitely stay at Maesteg Cottage again :0)

We had a 3 night stay at Dylan's Den in Laugharne and it was amazing. 4 well appointed en-suite bedrooms and a lovely cosy lounge area and kitchen. Plenty of room for the 7 of us (and our dog)
We were also left a comprehensive welcome pack which was gratefully received. If you haven't been to Laugharne then you really should add it to your list of places to visit. Wonderful.

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

We loved everything of our stay. The house was very cosy and tastefully furnished and the bathrooms were superb. The kitchen was well equipped and nice were the wine in the fridge and the welsh shortbread as a surprise. Parking space was every day available in front of the door but best of all were the stunning views onto the castle and the river Taf. Pubs and shops were all within a very short walking distance. We really can recomand this cottage to everyone.

Absolutely superb. Charlotte didn’t miss a detail and I was just in awe of her thoughtfulness towards our whole family, with stashes of toys hidden throughout the barn. The woodland and farm are as beautiful as the barn with ingenious play ideas throughout; we needn’t have gone any further all week! But it is an ideal spot to venture out to Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We were a family, but it would be a wonderful couple’s getaway too.

Great base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely views and apartment is exactly as described. It is properly equipped too! Views are magnificent, and it is close to all local amenities. I can recommend the Springwell Inn and The Coffee Shop for a visit… The beach is lovely, dog-friendly but very clean. It is a long stroll to the sea when the tide is out! Would definitely come again!

An amazing find - the perfect one bed apartment with lots of space for 1x person or for a couple. Sandersfoot is a beautiful village, smaller than Tenby and cuter with it. The flat is a 7 min walk down to the village and beach which when busy one welcomes the fact the apartment has its own parking. The accommodation felt almost brand new, wanting for nothing - supplying everything you could want. The bed was ever so comfortable with lovely sheets, the bathroom had great water pressure and brilliantly clean, the kitchen had everything you needed and all with a distant see view. It's also ideally located next to the Coastal Path, 13 mins from a tiny isolated beach. Can't recommend more. Thanks!

this is a beautiful well equipped cottage. bigger in reality than the photos show. great central village location. Very handy that it has its own designated parking spot.

Charlotte is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The barn is wonderful and a lovely peaceful place to relax. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended! We’ll look forward to visiting again.

Everything was really lovely & felt just like home from home.we really didn't want to leave.

We soon settled in & felt very relaxed the whole time. The beds were very comfy & all slept very well. The bathroom/ensuite were lovely & showers excellent. We never got bored of looking at the view. The location was perfect to walk into Tenby centre.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

An absolutely stunning farm house in a magical setting. Myself and my partner have stressful jobs, and live near Manchester, so to come here for absolute peace and tranquility was well needed, and couldn’t be faulted.

The farm house is kept to a high standard, with everything you needed within. Check in was easy, and we were contacted to ensure we knew who to turn to should we need any help.

The location is right on the Black Mountain, and weather conditions naturally can make the property a bit difficult to navigate to and from, however the road isn’t too bad, but we were glad for our 4x4!

The views and remoteness you get for this however are well worth it!

We will 100% be staying here again, and look forward to our next trip here. We already miss it terribly x

You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

location great for exploring the south Wales area, which is a lovely part of the world. Easy access to Laugharne but outside the village, so very quiet. The apartment is perfect for a couple and the hosts are so thoughtful.

We had a lovely stay in Pendine, the apartment was clean and well kept plus the view over the beach was amazing. Only 15 mins walk to the local amenities and 20min drive to Saundersfoot and 25 mins to Tenby. Would definitely recommend!

Gwalia House was simply perfect. Beautifully decorated and with everything you need.
The house has a comforting feel with the most restful beds and rooms where the light floods in.
I’m the evenings, games and books to entertain.
Laugharne was quant, quirky, friendly, and full of history.
Make sure to visit the 3 Mariners, Poons, the Deli and Choices gift shop.
Couldn’t have been a better half term with family.

Great spacious property, with all mod cons required. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable beds. Walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

great open space. ideal for the grand kids to run around and play both indoors and outside in the gardens. it was great to have great grand parents, grand parents, parents, kids and the dog in one place. great family atmosphere and get together.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

Such a lovely place to stay, we slept so well! Look forward to returning here again.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

It’s a beautiful escape to the countryside. So peaceful and beautiful!!

Beautiful characterful house, with a gorgeous garden. The situation is very peaceful but shops and restaurants/pubs are in easy walking distance. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family party and a small dog (who spent a lot of time on the very welcome dog bed - much bigger than his at home!). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We just had a wonderful week staying at Wildhaven. A perfect way to unplug by soaking up the peaceful solitude of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The property has been renovated with great care and attention. A luxurious and modern home from home with that essential vintage farmhouse feel retained throughout. We’ll be back for sure.

Sea Gem is truly a gem. The views from the kitchen are absolutely stunning and for our purposes the home was the perfect companion. We had a lot of fun figuring out how to work a UK washer/dryer! All of the rooms were comfortable and as described.

The neighborhood itself was also a gem; quiet and friendly. Loved waving to our neighbors as we were walking up/down the hill for our Tenby excursions.

Wales itself was a beautiful experience, we hope to come back soon.

Location was great and place was comfortable. We had a problem on one night with the shower and by the morning it was fixed so really good service.
Fresher towels as they were quite worn. The main bed was a bit hard.

Stayed at the Cors Country House for a weekend with my family. The people at Great Welsh Escapes were really helpful in booking the house and recommending activities for us to do over the weekend. I'd happily recommend these guys to anyone else and would use them again in the future. Thanks!

Communication was excellent, hosts were on hand and always helpful. Easy journey there, 4 hours from London. Great local trips to llansteffan, laugharne, pending.

Our trip couldn't have been more perfect – the town is lovely and the location of the cottage perfect for estuary walks and trips to the castle, restaurants and pubs. So many things to do nearby too, we will be back!

The property at Frogmore was immaculate and everything seemed new. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Frogmore and Laugharne.

We had a lovely family weekend at The Cors. The house was wonderful and everyone was very happy with their rooms and the communal spaces. This made for a very enjoyable time. The grounds were beautiful and wandering around was very peaceful. We used Laugharne as a base for exploring old haunts in West Wales but also spent some time revisiting the local area. Had a great Sunday lunch at Dexters, just a brief walk away. All in all a superb weekend.
