Beautifully furnished house in equally beautiful Laugharne - felt like a boutique hotel! Three lovely en-suite bedrooms that have good quality bedding. Easy walk into and around the village.

One of the rare AirBnbs where the photos do not do it justice at all! Excellent check in and communication, hot tub was lovely, really quiet spot and on the hill so perfect for watching the stars/sunrise/sunset/moonrise (can't say I'd ever seen a moonrise before).

We had a 3 night stay at Dylan's Den in Laugharne and it was amazing. 4 well appointed en-suite bedrooms and a lovely cosy lounge area and kitchen. Plenty of room for the 7 of us (and our dog)
We were also left a comprehensive welcome pack which was gratefully received. If you haven't been to Laugharne then you really should add it to your list of places to visit. Wonderful.
Jac was very communicative throughout our stay, checking in that all was well, which of course it was, but it we still appreciated the fact he cared. We would love to return to Laugharne one day and would certainly aim to stay at Dylan's Den when we do..Thanks again.

Sunnybank is to be highly recommended, Hazel was an amazing host & left us a beautiful welcome basket of goodies, it was much appreciated. Location is great, just what we wanted, nice & peaceful & the hot tub was very welcome after a long day exploring. Bed was so comfortable & the accessible shower & handrails were much appreciated by my husband.

What a super place to stay. The cottage is of a very high standard; right down to the luxury toilet paper! Everything worked perfectly and everything was thought of. Lovely place to stay. Perfectly located in a quiet village with tonnes of history and places to visit. Absolutely recommend this place!

This place is perfect for a family and is dog friendly too. The accommodation is perfect, open plan living was great and the patio door opening out onto the decking with hot tub right outside was fab…we came in December so spent lots of time in the tub!! The beds were comfy and lots of pillows to choose from (im a fussy pillow Person). Fantastic views from all windows/doors! There is a shop within a two minute walk, a couple of pubs, the owl and pussycat cafe, and a gift shop. The fish and chip shop was closed for the Xmas period but there is a Chinese/chip shop in St Clears near by. There is a great walk around Laugharne castle, past the Dylan Thomas writing shed and boat house is a must. We explored lots of places from here. I recommend Llansteffan, Tenby and walking through the tunnels from Saundersfoot to Wiseman’s Bridge. The hosts are super helpful and communication is fab.

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

Had an amazing stay as a family here. So close to the beach which is really easily accessible and has everything you could want in a beach including amazing rock pools.
Beautifully clean house, well stocked with lovely touches. Hot tub was amazing with beautiful views of the sea. Good location - only 25 mins from Tenby, Saundersfoot and folly farm.

Gwalia House is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Laugharne is a fascinating village with a stunning castle, the Dylan Thomas museum, and the coastal path all on your doorstep. There are shops, pubs and places to eat within walking distance and great beaches a short drive away. Great Welsh Estates were so helpful and posted us some things we'd left behind. Highly recommended.

Communication was excellent, hosts were on hand and always helpful. Easy journey there, 4 hours from London. Great local trips to llansteffan, laugharne, pending.

One word - amazing. Is how I would describe this place. Peaceful and beautiful, this place is perfectly located to the west of the national park in the Black Mountains. Which is amazing for long walks great for the dog. The place itself is stunning, clean and well maintained.

A really wonderful property, which was immaculate and very homely! Laura is a lovely host, and is so approachable - she really goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely want to come back again, and highly recommend!

The place itself is absolutely lovely, and they really have thought of everything and provided any tool or little thing you may not even have thought about! It’s so clean and smells lovely, the beds are also extremely comfy and soft. The location is beautiful and nice and quiet. Lots to do around it as well as being easy to get to places a bit further out. Hazel and Hugh are also so nice and welcoming.

Comfortable, cosy cottage in beautiful Laugharne. Cottage well equipped, warm and a lovely place to relax after busy days out. Great location in the centre of the town. Short walk to the Castle and shop/pubs/cafes. We ate twice in the Portreeves Restaurant which did great food and wine. Browns Hotel also good. Enjoyed the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and writing Shed and his Birthday Walk. Highly recommend a stay at Chapel View.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! So clean, comfortable, with every amenity you need. We had the most relaxing few days escape here - couldn’t recommend it enough! There was also fresh eggs, honey and bread left!

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

Great stay! Location was excellent , 10 minute walk into the village, easy drive to Tenby, Pembroke and beyond. Felt ‘home from home’ - great thought has been given to those little extras, like the ample herbs and spices, the magnifying mirror and the very comfortable bed. Lovely three night stay which we’d love to repeat!

We had a wonderful stay at our cottage in Laugharne. It was fantastically equipped and every little detail was thought of and appreciated by us. Jac was extremely professional as well as discreet. He checked we were okay and we felt was more than happy to help if we had needed.

What a perfect apartment, great location, superbly comfortable, stylishly furnished & decorated, all the facilities we could need. Definitely worth a return visit.

Initially awkward to find, the parking space was very narrow, toilet roll holder in awkward position.

We had such an amazing time at this place, it was beautiful inside the bungalow and outside with the fantastic scenery and how peaceful it was. The host was very kind and helpful as she came to see us a couple minutes after we arrived to talk us through the hot tub and about the place and nearby attractions. Hot tub was so warm and relaxing, temperature inside the house was comfortable and it was very clean and shiny, I would highly recommend this place to couples who want a peaceful weekend away. We are already planning on going back very soon, that's how beautiful and cheap It was!!

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

What a stunning location , the view of the beach and harbour was wonderful . The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed , perfectly located for the shops and restaurant and beaches . Lovely walks , we didn’t use the car all week .very comfy beds ! !

Beautiful, well equiped, spacious and beautifully renovated with plenty of outdoor space. Just need to be mindful of spiral staircases and that guests in those rooms are able to manage them. Great local farm based restaurant - Paternoster Farm - highly recommend (only open on certain nights and need to book): Highly recommend restaurant at the Point House in Angel (again need to book) and the Kings Arms in Pembroke: and must visit Pembroke Castle.

Wonderful accommodation in a very quiet location but only just out of the village. Bit of a climb up the road if you have a drink in one of the many pubs and restaurants that are only 10 min walk from the accommodation. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The private garden area was a huge plus, the silence only disturbed by a noisy bee, lol. We would certainly stay here again.

A beautifully laid out cottage in a lovely area of wales. Well situated for the beach or for exploring Carmarthebshire or Pembrokeshire… or just staying in in comfort. Good sized kitchen with all you’d need and a supportive host.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

We had an incredible time and loved staying at Maes Y Mel. It was a home away from home and we’ll definitely be coming back again in years to come. The hosts were so kind and friendly, a fantastic holiday spot to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

Ideally 4th double or single room would have been useful.
We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

Fabulous time had by all. A couple of early niggles were quickly and efficiently sorted out. Beautiful property and the weather has been sunny and hot all week.

Gwalia House was absolutely exceptional. Beautifully decorated inside and accommodated our young family perfectly. So much space for the little ones and luxury comfort for the adults. We would not hesitate to book again.

We were a family group of 8 and found the house spacious with a massive garden The front of the house caught the mid-day sun (in February) and there was plenty of seating outside to enjoy it. With small children care was needed with 2 ponds and ditches and a stream, but overall the garden was beautiful. It has been described as a “ bohemian bolt hole “ which is a very good description. The interior was quirky, but also up to the minute with technology.The bedrooms were very comfortable with tv’s and coffee makers and modern on suites. It has a variety of facilities to suit young and old. The games room and bar were well equipped and had a Sonos sound system and the kitchen and dining room were roomy well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our holiday.

FOOTPRINTS is a lovely flat in a great location , the walk to the beach just opposite is amazing. The flat is immaculate, well decorated, great storage space and has everything needed for 2. can not fault it in any way .
The owner was helpful and very friendly.

We chose this beautiful home for my 60th birthday celebration with all my family and it did not disappoint us. The property was spacious and so very well equipped throughout. There is plenty of car park space too. The 5 bedrooms with 3 of the 4 double bedded rooms having en-suite bathrooms with a family bathroom for the other double and twin attic bedroom. Unfortunately the 3 nights stay wasn’t long enough and wished stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jac for the welcome pack of local produce together with my 60th balloon which was an added touch much appreciated. The bar and pool table were used each night. It was a great way to celebrate with my family thank you for everything

It's a beautiful house in a great location overlooking the town. We had plenty of space and everything we needed as a group of five adults and two kids. We would be happy to stay there again.

I booked this house for a birthday trip for my Mum and nieces. The communication prior to arriving was great. It provided lots of info not just about the house but also about the area and restaurants etc.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

We spent xmas at The Great house and it was magical. Great welsh escapes went above and beyond when helping organise our stay and once we arrived and during. Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

We decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful home for a few days and the Old School was perfect. Easy to find, excellent communication from Jess, problem with bathroom light that was quickly rectified whilst we were out and about.

Laugharne is small but peaceful with all amenities you may need (if you need to do a large food shop however I’d do this before you arrive as the convenience store is very limited in terms of veg / selection etc).

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

This is an excellent property, superbly located for all the local facilities and three minutes walk to Browns Hotel with the excellent Dexters Steak House and the simply superb Poons Thai restaurant. The cottage has newly fitted high quality fixtures and fittings and clearly the owners wish to provide a great experience for clients. It is well located and has all the facilities listed although I would point out that whilst the rear garden is certainly secure for pets it is made up of a shale base and a raised bark covered bed that is quite steep.
The communication both with GWE and the owners was excellent with a couple of issues addresses with great speed and efficiency. Thank you.

We chose The Cors as a group of friends with small children to spend our New Years celebrations.
Everything about it was perfect from start to finish!
Ideal location for lovely dog walks (which were even lovely in the rain) a beautiful garden to admire and an immaculate house full to the brim with everything and more than you need!
The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a must to visit!
Jac as a host went above and beyond from start to finish for us, from answering questions before our arrival to going out of his way to replace items whilst we were there!
Cannot recommend this house enough, it’s an ideal family home to enjoy quality time together in an ideal location.

Absolutely superb. Charlotte didn’t miss a detail and I was just in awe of her thoughtfulness towards our whole family, with stashes of toys hidden throughout the barn. The woodland and farm are as beautiful as the barn with ingenious play ideas throughout; we needn’t have gone any further all week! But it is an ideal spot to venture out to Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We were a family, but it would be a wonderful couple’s getaway too.

The property was fantastic. Everything that was stated on the site was accurate. The house is in a lovely location (up a hill), a short walk in to town, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The hosts had left us a welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch. We had taken two cars and parking was not a problem. The house was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five adults in our party. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we went back to Tenby.

Unfortunately the Covid situation means that some businesses are not fully open or open at all at the moment but those that were, were very friendly. Fell in love with this house it is so beautiful even though it is so big it feels warm and inviting I loved the cosy room downstairs with panel Windows throwing light into the room I would definitely recommend a visit you will be delighted with this charming house

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

Der Staubsauger war defekt

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by great views and only the sheep and birds for neighbours. Great for a quiet getaway.
House is nicely decorated with modern touches and comfortable. The large window in the reception room is great especially when slightly too cold to sit outside as it was on our stay.
For those with dogs. The garden is enclosed to a point however a small dog could probably get through the main gate and one part of the fencing had buckled slightly. I think our bernedoodle would have had a go at jumping that part given half the chance.

Wohnen in historischem Haus. Tolle Einrichtung. Überaus geräumig. Das Kaminzimmer ist so schön. Ein absolutes Highlight!

Gwalia House was simply perfect. Beautifully decorated and with everything you need.
The house has a comforting feel with the most restful beds and rooms where the light floods in.
I’m the evenings, games and books to entertain.
Laugharne was quant, quirky, friendly, and full of history.
Make sure to visit the 3 Mariners, Poons, the Deli and Choices gift shop.
Couldn’t have been a better half term with family.

Property is in a delightful position and contains everything we needed for a lovely holiday stay.

We absolutely loved this airbnb, host was very accommodating and the place had all the amenities you’d need. Would recommend :)

The cottage is beautifully decorated to a very high standard and just perfect for a few days of R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed.

Excellent bungalow, very cosy and well equipped. Dog friendly with fairly secure back garden. Michelle and Helen, the owner were very helpful and suggested good places to eat and visit. Had a delicious dinner at Brown’s Hotel and brilliant fish and chips from the wonderful woman in the local fish and chip shop in Laugharne. A really lovely holiday, thank you.

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

A very quiet place easy parking and a very good accommodations all that you need for a nice break away.

The Old School House far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful place to stay in. It’s spacious, clean, peaceful & looks stunning.
Clear instructions, especially the tip for using What3Words! The hosts were very responsive when emailed.
We had everything we needed. We spent plenty of time chilling there, but also went to Pendine Beach which was a great place with plenty of space, glorious sand & great views.
There’s a lovely cafe literally next door to the property in a converted barn, great food & friendly hosts.
We spoke to one of the neighbours out walking his dogs & he was friendly & told us to visit Poons Street Cafe in Laugharne but unfortunately we didn’t get chance.
We highly recommend The Old School House.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful and lovely to be among the farm. Swimming pool and Sauna were excellent. The boathouse was lovely and cosy. Just great.

Sunrise Super View , Hot Tub

We had a fantastic staycation experience!

Firstly, the good view we experienced was stunning, especially we witnessed a sunrise you had never seen before. The fact that i am specially mentioning it as it left a strong impression on me .

Additionally, the facility good amenities, including a spacious and clean home and a hot tub. These types of features can make all the difference in creating a relaxing and enjoyable staycation experience.

Overall, it was very positive and happy time we spent with family.
Thanks again as this stay will remain in our and my 6 year old girl memories forever.

Lovely bungalow, peaceful. Fantastic views. Great location to go site seeing. All close by. Kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Spacious . The veranda was lovely with comfortable chairs to sit out and chill.

Fantastic property in a fabulous location. Perfect for a family holiday. Accommodation has the old fashioned cottage appeal but with all the mod cons. Close to several sites of natural beauty. Don't miss out on the local pubs. we will be visiting again.

We loved our stay at Defrach.
Hanna went out of her way to help us, we couldn’t be more grateful.
The house was beautiful, so cosy and felt like home instantly.
The scenery was insane, we were always in the hot tub admiring views (now we understand why it is where it is located!)
They had everything you need in the house, we never ate out and was there a week.
Our kids and their friends who joined us loved the place.
It is a 20 minute drive to a local shop and further to a supermarket so would recommend a food delivery so you can kick back and enjoy when you are there.
We loved it and didn’t want to come home.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.

Best service I’ve ever received from a weekend rental, property was clean and well kitted out.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

Fantastic location and lovely property. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. It was lovely and warm and spacious. A special thank you to Sammie from Great Welsh Escapes who responded to our one minor issue at 10pm on a Saturday evening and ensured it was all sorted by the following morning - that shows fantastic commitment and customer service.

What a fantastic home and view. The cottage had everything you would need. The location was great very close to the Main Street in Laugharne. The cottage had plenty of room for us. We did not want to leave!

Lovely location for an extremely soothing break. Well equipped cottage and Robert was kind enough to get kids little games to keep busy when you are retiring after having a day out whether to botanical garden trip or folley farm.
Near by nisa local, fish and chips were handy to pop for a quick snack.
House was very clean and plenty of room for a family of six. We shall visit again and recommend this place.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!
