Cannot rate this property highly enough. Great Welsh Escapes were very communicative and the host left a beautiful hamper as well as chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco! What an unexpected treat and given the condition and quality of the accommodation not even necessary. The property was filled to the brim with thoughtful household necessities. You LITERALLY need clothes food and personal toiletries to stay at Sunnybank. Fantastic place! Will definitely recommend. Thank you 💯👌🏼

We had a superb 10 days at Yr Hen Feudy in Llandybie, which completely lived up to our expectations. Our hosts greeted us and showed us around, and nothing was too much trouble. We were grateful for the thoughtful little creature comforts which made our destination into a 'home from home', as well as all the information relating to the area and places of interest. We were blessed with lovely weather as well, enabling us to enjoy walking in the Brecon Beacons as well as along Rhosili Bay. Our Great Welsh Escape provided a much needed opportunity to unplug, rest and relax, restoring both mind and soul. Thank you very much.

The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed in order to have a lovely time! The host was extremely welcoming and recommended some amazing restaurants and places to go. The place was in a great location just a short drive to the beach and a little walk to local pubs and restaurants. Definitely would recommend this place to others!:)

The most beautiful place we've stayed inside and out. The photos don't do it justice! For us, it was perfectly located - away from the summer holiday chaos but 10-15 minutes from so many attractions (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Heatherton, Bluestone, Manor Park ...). The house itself is stunning as well as being clean and homely. We socialised mainly in the kitchen as the dining area was perfect for the kids to run outside. All the beds were super comfortable and the 3 main bedrooms were massive. The room with the bunkbeds is also a lot bigger than it looks in the photos! We'd love to go back to Middlelands!

Amazing stay. The farm house is beautifully restored and elegantly furnished. We particularly loved the fireplace next to the big window in the lounge. Our guest experience with Great Welsh Escapes was excellent. Highly recommend

Had a lovely stay, the team at Great Welsh Escapes were always there and proactive in reaching out. They also messaged to check we had found everything OK.

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Would very much recommend this cottage as a beautiful, relaxing base for the area. A home from home.

The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and lots of space. We cooked a lot during our stay and the kitchen had everything we needed. The dogs loved having such a big space to roam outside and the hot tub was also amazing especially on the days it was rainy!

The location is up a hill and it's dark at night so I recommend you bring a torch if you're walking at night or coming by public transport.

What a lovely property! Three double bedrooms, all with en-suites. The house is high-spec with everything supplied that you could wish for. I heartily recommend if you are a Dylan Thomas fan or just want to check out the area. Response to issues was also super-quick.

A beautiful and stylish property. The rooms are spacious with good quality furniture. The window at the front is huge and provides a wonderful view over Laugharne. Good sized oven and hob as well as large fridge . Separate freezer on the utility with washing and drying facilities.
The property was sparkling clean and we appreciated the nice toiletries and welcome tea, coffee etc.
No hesitation in recommending - we all had a wonderful Easter stay.

Saundersfoot and surrounding areas are beautiful. This flat is the perfect base for making the most of it with its sea view and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will gladly return to this location.

The Cottage, Laugharne.
The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

Footprints is a well equipped apartment in a good location.
It provides a good base for a relaxing stay . It is easy to explore other areas of Pembrokeshire from here.
There are several pubs /restaurants in walking distance from the apartment.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunnybanks, thank you Hazel and Hugh.
The relaxing and tranquil setting is fabulous. Waking up to the views is amazing and we are grateful. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home from home, fluffy towels, fresh linen on the bed, sumptuous hot hub, fully stocked kitchen and utility room. The cottage layout has been carefully considered for the guest and nothing is lacking, we had everything and some. Hazel and Hugh are lovely, very attentive and considerate. Just a text away for any advice or questions. Thanks again for checking in on us, it’s been a truly relaxing break, we will be back in the very near future.

Superb accommodation and location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, you pay a little more for this type of accommodation, but it really is worth it. My children, normally very fussy, adored their bedrooms and the whole house, which is full of character. Ideally placed within the village, and whilst there is no parking with the property, we never had a problem finding a parking space within a few footsteps, even in the school holidays. Pubs and restaurants are within a stone throw, and all are excellent. It's a very relaxing village, with beautiful walks, and superb beaches within easy travelling distance. We love the area, and will be back.

What an amazing time spent at the Cors with our 4 children. A beautifully decorated quirky home on the most fantastic grounds. Hours spent playing hide and seek in the garden and searching for fairies with our daughters.We feel so lucky to have made the best memories ever there with our family,that we will treasure. Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

We had a great week in Lloret. Beautifully clean bungalow with all you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Jac kept in touch by text to make sure we were ok. We would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

Charlotte is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The barn is wonderful and a lovely peaceful place to relax. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended! We’ll look forward to visiting again.

The Cors is the place to be for a relaxed inter generational family get together. The gardens are stunning and the stylish house is full of eclectic treats.

We had a great couple of days at Wildhaven. It was an ideal combination of remote, long walks from the door, quiet, yet an easy 20 minutes drive from a few villages with pubs and shops. The dogs loved it too! The house itself was fantastic, really great facilities and furniture. Everything was perfect!

Gorgeous little house, just next door to a fab deli that does amazing tapas on Friday and Saturday nights. The Poons Thai take out down next the castle is also fantastic. A fab little town and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing friendly break.

We had a lovely week here. It is a genuinely stunning cottage and everything inside is of the highest standard and quality - just as the description suggests. It is luxurious and 5 star. It is also very quiet and peaceful (the heart of the Welsh countryside!), though we were woken up by cows on a couple of mornings! Location is excellent for Pendine (beautiful long and sandy beach) and Laugharne (quaint town with castle), each a 5 minute drive away. However, the heart of Pembrokeshire (Tenby, Saundersfoot etc) is a good 25-35 min drive away and so a car is essential. We had a few issues with the TVs but I'm sure it will be sorted for future guests. Overall we would highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. Less than 10 min drive to stubby freshwater west beaches and within 30 minutes of tonnes of activities and days out. Place was spotless, well stocked and very spacious. Communication was speedy and friendly. Would recommend.

Took elderly parents for 5 day break. Location was spot on. To look out at laugharne castle and the estuary through the living room window was awesome and watching the mist rolling up the estuary in the early morning. House was so well equipped, everything you could need. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time in this modern looking cosy house. Local people were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, not too far to Pembrokeshire Coast and Tenby town. Laugharne is a very peaceful place, we did not suffer from any noises at all. Such a shame we could not visit the local Castle as we did not know about pre-booking and Tuesday/Wednesday they are closed. In overall we can fully recommend this place and Great Welsh Escapes. 5/5

Location was great and place was comfortable. We had a problem on one night with the shower and by the morning it was fixed so really good service.
Fresher towels as they were quite worn. The main bed was a bit hard.

We had a great time. A lot of internal space, well equipped kitchen, a great den/TV room which was very popular with our teenagers and spacious bedrooms. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating options to catch the sun during the day. A private setting and very peaceful.
Just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs, Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. A short drive to the vast Pendine beach. EV charger was very convenient - not many public options in the area.
Would definitely stay there again.

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

A really comfortable and well equipped property and as is stated in the details. In a good location in the centre of Laugharne which has a good range of eating places and small stores. The food from Poons was fabulous.

The apartment was very well equipped. Every small detail/need had been thought of. It was very comfortable & homely. Parking & security entrance was good. Sarah the host was excellent in checking everything was ok when we arrived. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped & the lighting was perfect & like home from home. The house is amazing. Spotlessly clean, packed with everything you might need. Great location on Laugharne High Street, close to everything. Will definitely be back!!

Fantastic location and close by to where my friend was celebrating her birthday. All within a couple of minutes walking distance.

The lighting is a little low which made getting ready a bit tricky to do make up. The only suitable light was in the bathroom.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the hosts very welcoming. They gave us bara brith cake, rose wine and biscuits. Supplied tea, coffee, sugar and a host of ‘extras’ for our stay.

Had a fantastic few days away at the barn, really lovely property in a great location. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed, it was spotless throughout and had a nice comfy sofa. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to explore this part of Wales!

We stayed here for a week with our two kids (aged 1 & 3) and had a really great time - the place is modern and well finished, and in a great location for beach trips, exploring local towns or seeing various attractions for children (Dinosaur World was a favourite)! The hosts were also very attentive and helpful throughout. We’d highly recommend staying here!

FOOTPRINTS is a lovely flat in a great location , the walk to the beach just opposite is amazing. The flat is immaculate, well decorated, great storage space and has everything needed for 2. can not fault it in any way .
The owner was helpful and very friendly.

Everything was as expected if not better. We enjoyed the views from the windows in all rooms and especially from the hot tub. The castle is lit up at night which adds a great background when relaxing in the bubbles. The open plan kitchen lounge and dining room layout of the house was ideal for us with kids. The house was lovely and clean and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The property is over 3 floors and offered loads of space for a group of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and we were able to travel by car to a number of local attractions. We will probably book again in the future.

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

Situated by a working farm, it is very quiet and peaceful. Hardly noticed the farm workings. It is on MOD land, thus you feel very safe as access to the area is very controlled. From 16.00 you can go to the beach, when we were their it was ourselves and four others. The accommodation is very spacious and spotless, although the internet is patchy.
For a quiet unwind this place is absolutely ideal.
For a great meal head to the Jabajak vineyard.

Great location -very short distance to Laugharne and great base for visiting Folly Farm, Tenby and other local tourist attractions.

Clean and homely - the property is lovely and clean. we appreciatedthe homely feel and the yummy welcome treats!

Ideal for small families - we took our baby girl. It was such a relief that the property already had a travel cot and snack chair which fits onto the dining room chair so we didn't have to worry about packing as much stuff. Only issue is that there is no bath tub to wash baby in but we took a little baby bath tub with us which was no problem.

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

A superb period house which has been beautifully restored with an eye for detail. Everything provided was of the highest standard and spotlessly clean. The house is extremely well equipped and spacious. Michelle, our host, was a mine of information about the history of Gwalia House, Laugharne and the surrounding area. Lovely walks and plenty of places to eat and drink on the doorstep. Everything you would expect from a 5* property and a lot, lot more.

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

Hanna was the perfect host and helped us with anything we needed and was understanding when a few things happened (our toddler may have taken a remote back home with us🤦‍♀️) can’t recommend this place enough! Location was great..across the road there was a path to the beach...the nearby Saundersfoot was a 7 min walk and had lot's of eateries (although very busy just now) but beach had room for deckchairs etc...fab!

This house is magnificent. We had a fanatic joint 30th here and enjoyed every second. The house is so much bigger than we had anticipated, it’s huge! The heated pool was the cherry on the cake. We’d definitely come back here again - thanks so much.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! So clean, comfortable, with every amenity you need. We had the most relaxing few days escape here - couldn’t recommend it enough! There was also fresh eggs, honey and bread left!

BRING THIS BACK. Over the years I have been to so many festivals and Middlelands was hands down THE BEST. Never have I felt so safe due to the friendly security at a festival. I never had to worry about water, there was so much to do in between sets. Best. Festival. Ever.

We had a fabulous stay at York Lodge in Laugharne. York Lodge was clean, modern, wonderfully equipped and a great size for our party of 6. Laugharne is a lovely village with an amazing family run deli called The Ferryman and some other good food options. The team at Great Welsh Escapes were so responsive, helpful and professional, I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them.

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Very tasteful and modern. Everything catered for - just fab! Communication with the owners was prompt and check in/out easy. Path directly opposite leads to Glen Beach ( a small sandy cove just off the main beach). The walk into Saundersfoot is about 10 mins down bank into the shops/harbour//main beach. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely walks to Amroth and Tenby and then further afield to Manobier and Stackpole Quay/Boshteron Lily Ponds. If you are thinking of staying in Saundersfoot then stay here - you won't regret it.

The most perfect holiday home. The house was spotless, had everything inside we could have wanted and the little things such as more than enough plates and towels etc for everyone which is always so helpful. A great space for everyone and the big garden is an added bonus and secure for animals which gives great peace of mind. We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Really beautiful and comfortable house ~ wonderfully furnished ~amazing garden ~Fantastic week’s stay

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

Fab house very homely. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Location is great for both Tenby and Saundersfoot (very steep hill to climb on the way back)

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.
We will be back!

The Cors Country House exceeded all my expectations, we had an amazing time, the house and grounds were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely private cottage, set amongst the Welsh countryside. Very quiet and well appointed. Private use of the pool, which was huge! Sauna was also very nice.

Beautifully furnished house in equally beautiful Laugharne - felt like a boutique hotel! Three lovely en-suite bedrooms that have good quality bedding. Easy walk into and around the village.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maesteg Cottage, it was very well equipped and we found everything that we needed plus a lovely welcome pack including Welsh cakes, wine and coffee. The cottage has a few quirky features including an unusual upstairs toilet!! It is a very comfortable and homely property, particularly the beds, we all slept very well. There is also a beautiful enclosed garden on different layers with a secluded spot at the top where you can sit and enjoy the view in the evening sun. The location is good for visiting a variety of places and we enjoyed Laugharne, Tenby, Cardigan, Gwbert and Tresaith Beach and waterfall, all within around 35 minutes travel by car from the cottage. We would stay again.

great open space. ideal for the grand kids to run around and play both indoors and outside in the gardens. it was great to have great grand parents, grand parents, parents, kids and the dog in one place. great family atmosphere and get together.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

We chose this beautiful home for my 60th birthday celebration with all my family and it did not disappoint us. The property was spacious and so very well equipped throughout. There is plenty of car park space too. The 5 bedrooms with 3 of the 4 double bedded rooms having en-suite bathrooms with a family bathroom for the other double and twin attic bedroom. Unfortunately the 3 nights stay wasn’t long enough and wished stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jac for the welcome pack of local produce together with my 60th balloon which was an added touch much appreciated. The bar and pool table were used each night. It was a great way to celebrate with my family thank you for everything

What three words is very useful. Walking boots and all weather jackets are good things to keep.
It is recommended to buy things before checking in as Superstore is few miles.

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. Diolch yn fawr.

Had a fabulous time…Such a lovely, well equipped house. Really tastefully designed and in a perfect spot in Laugharne. We will definitely be back and counting down the days in the meantime!

A beautiful flat, very clean and with everything you need. Anne, the host, was very kind and always available when needed. We loved our stay, with a car you can easily visit both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We definitely recommend it. Thank you Anne.

What a fantastic trip. A lovely large bungalow with everything you could ever need for a relaxing family vacation. Well equipped kitchen with a large dining table for board games and meals. Lovely living room with blu ray and comfy sofas and chairs. Lots of space for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 children and a dog with more to sapre. Lovely personal touches by the hosts Jac and Michelle, the Welsh cakes and wine were a lovely touch as was the help with directions. Highly recommended.

Although it's in MOD land, that didn't get in the way as we spent most of our daytime before 4pm, at a nearby beach at Pendine. Also we wanted somewhere out of the way, that would be quiet, without other holiday makers around. The owners have gone to a lot of effort with nice touches and quality of kitchen facilities was important to us as we prefer having evening meals made by ourselves. The walk in shower and bathtub is big. We enjoyed the fire pit outside at night and everything here was high quality.

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was exactly as described and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was booked for my wife’s 50th birthday and what a venue!

Everything. No issues with the property whatsoever, it’s just so nice and the hosts were so friendly and helpful as well. The welcome pack was very nice and much appreciated. It’s in such a quiet location, you could hear a pin drop when sitting outside.

Nothing to dislike about the house

Great spacious home with beautiful gardens which are not shown. Our grandchildren loved the gardens and the fairy garden which has been created by the owner. Although there was a large lounge we spent our time in the kitchen/diner enjoying breakfast together and then playing card games together after dinner in the evening.

The location was great for the historic sites and for our family reunion (32 of us) on Pendine Sands. We didn’t all stay in the bungalow, only 9 of us!

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

We had a great stay at the house which has real character, would recommend the house and the village, lots of great social areas and the rooms were all fabulous with comfy beds. Lots of thought has gone into the decoration and the bits around the house and pictures etc. We had a fabulous week (6 adults, 3 early teens). Great that we could take the dogs and there was a gate to keep them in there allowed area.

Really enjoyed staying at tranquil house by the lake. Very cosy and well maintained, it was a great place to unwind for few days. didn't use the pool but having the sauna available during the winter was nice. Communication from Jess was great and spoke to the owner on site who was very friendly also. The Boathouse would be even better in the summer to be able to sit out and watch ducks swim around.

we had an amazing stay for the weekend. the rooms were amazing and the kitchej was well equipped for us to enjoy our time with no hassle.
the hot tub is an amazing addition and the views from the apartment were gorgeous.

We loved everything of our stay. The house was very cosy and tastefully furnished and the bathrooms were superb. The kitchen was well equipped and nice were the wine in the fridge and the welsh shortbread as a surprise. Parking space was every day available in front of the door but best of all were the stunning views onto the castle and the river Taf. Pubs and shops were all within a very short walking distance. We really can recomand this cottage to everyone.

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Lovely welcome pack include prosecco nice after a 5 hour drive. The accommodation is perfectly presented in every room. Thanks so much Ann and Ian.
