Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

We spent two weeks in this lovely bungalow which is much bigger than the pictures suggest.

Everything guests could possibly need during their stay is there and is all spotlessly clean

We would highly recommend Dyffryn Taf to anyone wanting a comfortable base from which to explore all that this beautiful part of Wales has to offer.

We stayed at both this property and the adjoining annexe. We were a group of 8 and there was ample room for everyone. It felt very spacious. The gardens were lovely and the area very peaceful. The property themselves were nice. The towels could do with changing though as they looked quite worn out and left pieces stuck to you. The en-suite toilet in main building wasn’t very secure and the en-suite shower in annexe blocked but the owners were brilliant in getting back to us with any problems we had. Definitely recommend them and the properties.
Lots in the area to do. We visited Pendine beach which was nice as well as Tenby. Pembrokeshire coast was really beautiful. The children enjoyed Blue lagoon water park which was 30 mins away as well as Oakwood Theme Park.
We would most definitely return. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Superb location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, castle and walks by the estuary. Outstanding garden, perfect for a peaceful morning coffee and spacious enough for badminton and hide and seek! Lots to do indoors for a multi-generational family. Living the dream!

Great spacious home with beautiful gardens which are not shown. Our grandchildren loved the gardens and the fairy garden which has been created by the owner. Although there was a large lounge we spent our time in the kitchen/diner enjoying breakfast together and then playing card games together after dinner in the evening.

The location was great for the historic sites and for our family reunion (32 of us) on Pendine Sands. We didn’t all stay in the bungalow, only 9 of us!

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

A clean, bright and airy bungalow with great views and space that works well for families. Thoughtfully well equipped. Plenty of storage for all those waterproofs and walking boots. It's the last of 3 bungalows in a quiet country lane, very peaceful in the evenings. There's a cute little summer house at the top of the well kept garden from where you can see all the way to the Dylan Thomas Boathouse on the shore of the estuary. Great beaches nearby, especially picturesque Llansteffan. Awesome coasteering 45 mins away at Stackpole Quay with Morfa Bay Adventure. Laugharne itself is missing a good foodie pub, unfortunately Brown's Hotel and the Penderyn Restaurant are currently closed to the public. But go further afield and you can find great food at the Stackpole Inn, The Warren in Carmarthen and the Daffodil Inn near Llandysul.

The house was lovely, even nicer than the photos. Finish of the house was great, kitchen well equipped and the outside areas were excellent. The driveway was long but no problem, even the Sainsbury delivery driver coped without issue. There isn’t much that can be accessed by foot but this was made clear on the map. We stayed with four children and the house easily accommodated us, all the games and welcome cake were nice touches.

Our stay in Laugharne was fantastic - the flat was excellent, right in the middle of town, and exactly as described. And I heartily recommend The Ferrymans deli just a few doors down

We had a great stay with Hugh and Hazel. They'd put a lot of effort into making the home as welcoming to all (including supplies for rainy days). It was comfortable, well stocked (beyond what I'd normally expect) and they'd left us with plenty of recommendations. Couldn't fault them!

Wonderful space, clean, the most comfortable beds. Great kitchen space with Aga. Cinema room is awesome. Quick, efficient communication reassures that this place is well organised and managed. Super fast response times before and during stay.

What a lovely house. The living room was very spacious, light and airy thanks to the double aspect windows and huge front window with view over the local area.

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

Communication was excellent, hosts were on hand and always helpful. Easy journey there, 4 hours from London. Great local trips to llansteffan, laugharne, pending.

Beautiful cottage, walkable to several pubs with food and a convenience store. Very quiet area, nice walks. Quite steep stairs with no handrail worth being aware of if any mobility issues.

Hazel could not of been anymore hospitable could she of tried. We had a stunning welcome pack and then Hazel went above and beyond with some eggs and after she spent a morning strawberry picking she even shared what she had gathered with us. The location is remote but perfect. Stunning bungalow with amazing and tranquil views from every window and the most well equipped air BnB I have ever stayed in. Honestly we did not want for anything. From a bbq, fans, torches, shower items, robes, towels - you name it. And the hot tub just topped it off!!
We struggled to get in touch with Welsh Escapes for check in info.
But please rest assured, Hazels place is well worth the money and Hazel is super friendly and super helpful. And the communication initially is with Welsh Escapes and not Hazel directly.

This is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. Great Welsh escapes were super helpful and great at communicating if we needed anything while we were there. There was so much space in the house. We stayed with 3 children aged 3, 5 and 6 and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and play in. Lovely location for walking into Laugharne and a great base for visiting Tenby, Folly Farm etc. Would highly recommend.

The Cors is a very special place. it is beautiful inside and out. We can only imagine just how fantastic the gardens would be in summer. The rooms are generous and social, while still allowing space to read and potter. The house was very clean, with lots of little extra touches to make our stay even better. walks along the estuary were stunning. The village has a couple of shops and pubs and on our last night we had a fantastic thai meal delivered from Poony who is aboutoto open a premises on the Grist. Just lovely!!

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

Utterly wow from the first month you pull on onto a rather steep driveway.Everything is of such good quality.Kitchen so well stocked to wonder shower & bathroom.The TV for none technical ladies was a challenge but eventually got there.The hot tub view we just didn't want to get out.Beds are so comfy & a goodnight sleep was had by us all.If you don't want to cook they definitely had a good range of place's to eat & drink.We will definitely be coming back just stunning

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

We had a great stay at the house which has real character, would recommend the house and the village, lots of great social areas and the rooms were all fabulous with comfy beds. Lots of thought has gone into the decoration and the bits around the house and pictures etc. We had a fabulous week (6 adults, 3 early teens). Great that we could take the dogs and there was a gate to keep them in there allowed area.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We stayed here for a week with our two kids (aged 1 & 3) and had a really great time - the place is modern and well finished, and in a great location for beach trips, exploring local towns or seeing various attractions for children (Dinosaur World was a favourite)! The hosts were also very attentive and helpful throughout. We’d highly recommend staying here!

Extremely convenient location, close to the centre of Laugharne, and in an extensive and magnificent garden. Wonderfully exotic and tranquil grounds surrounding a beautifully maintained, comfortable and characterful house.

Handsets for TVs were rather complicated and tricky. Some instructions would have been useful.

Lovely cottage in laugharne King Street. Very comfortable, kitchen had everything I needed. Lovely outside area, bedroom beautifully decorated. Bathroom lovely with huge shower unit. I really enjoyed my stay. Lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting on arrival was a very nice extra. I had a lovely stay here and will definitely book it again. Thank you!

Sunny Bank is an outstanding place to stay for a short or long break as it is remarkably well equipped with everything you require.

Immaculate throughout, extremely spacious making it easily accessible for disabled and wheelchair users .

Outside, the gardens are accessible, there are seating areas with extensive views across the countryside.

A hot tub to relax in the day or night ..just perfect.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the
"Welcome Hamper" and Fresh goods milk ,juice eggs etc .

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

Beautiful house with a very high level of comfort and well equipped with everything needed. Excellent location. Unfortunately the Covid situation means that some businesses are not fully open or open at all at the moment but those that were, were very friendly. Great to see that the preventative measures are being taken very seriously both in Laugharne and West Wales generally.

Loved our stay in this spacious bungalow, it was ideal for a large family and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the gardens. You couldn’t hear a sound in the night, it was so relaxing and just perfect for a break down west.

Beautiful apartment on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the sea. Cosy vibe and great Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of good quality utensils and a dish washer. Heating is very good. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Beudy Howel was a beautifully renovated property. It was light & airy and exceptionally well appointed. There was a thoughtful welcome package. Lots of easy to follow instructions and lists of restaurants & beaches. I would highly recommend staying here, it was lovely & quiet.

Beautiful, well equiped, spacious and beautifully renovated with plenty of outdoor space. Just need to be mindful of spiral staircases and that guests in those rooms are able to manage them. Great local farm based restaurant - Paternoster Farm - highly recommend (only open on certain nights and need to book): Highly recommend restaurant at the Point House in Angel (again need to book) and the Kings Arms in Pembroke: and must visit Pembroke Castle.

We had a lovely stay at Gwalia House. Everything was just as described. Very comfortable beds, kitchen very well equipped and the house was beautifully furnished throughout. Very good communication from the agent. There is plenty to do nearby - particular highlight was Barafundle Bay area - there is a stunning circular walk which takes about 3 hours starting from Bosherton Lily Ponds. We also had a delicious supper across the road at Dexters - but you need to book well in advance. All in all - highly recommended!

Our second stay in Round Park and we will definitely be back again! Everything we needed for 8 of plus dog. Having the annex too, was great! Thanks Michelle, Jac and all the Great Welsh Escapes team.😃

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

A really comfortable and well equipped property and as is stated in the details. In a good location in the centre of Laugharne which has a good range of eating places and small stores. The food from Poons was fabulous.

Absolutely fantastic stay at this amazing, quirky house. We couldn't believe it when we arrived, the photos do not do it justice. Really don't want to leave but will be back, the village is fabulous, the people so friendly, recommend it all.

A truly unique property in a superb setting!

A great house for a small family celebration with rooms that lend themselves to all manner of occasion! The bar room was a hit for our cocktail and karaoke evening, the large dining room perfect for large family meals and the cinema room was just perfect for a lazy Sunday after a walk around the boathouse and a stop at the local pub!

All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and made for a cosy nights sleep!

Would highly recommend for families or groups looking to reconnect after a particularly tricky year!

Jac was an excellent host from booking to departure! 5 stars!

Stayed at Chapel View. A few teething problems as brand new but dealt with brilliantly and quickly by GWE and the lovely owners who live next door. Beautiful cottage - didn’t want to leave!!! And would hugely recommend local walks and a trip to Pendine Sands. And Tapas from the Ferryman which is 2 doors down!!

Having just returned home from a 3 night stay at Footprints apartment in Saundersfoot, we would highly recommend this to anyone. It was 5 star rating, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to the town and harbour. We are looking forward to staying there again in the foreseeable future.
A home from home indeed.

Chapel View is perfect for staying in Laugharne. Great to able to just walk to Dylan Thomas' Boathouse and Writing shed, the castle and local shops, Post Office and places to eat and walks up Sir John's Hill.
The cottage is lovely, nicely decorated, clean and well equipped.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Andrew.

Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

great open space. ideal for the grand kids to run around and play both indoors and outside in the gardens. it was great to have great grand parents, grand parents, parents, kids and the dog in one place. great family atmosphere and get together.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

The staff at Great Welsh Escapes were excellent. Good communication from booking until check out. They even provided links to find info on appliance use, places to visit and eat, ect.

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return

When you drive up, you certainly get the wow factor. This carries through to the home too. The helpful guide provided was great. Certainly recommend to friends and family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cors

Lovely clean everything you need,lovely waking up to hear the sea..weather not great but didn't stop us from walking along the beaches .Great break..deffo recommend. Be bk most definitely

Beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage was really comfortable and beautifully furnished. A real home from home! Laugharne is lovely. We loved Poons Street Food, the castle and the walls around Laugharne.

We had a great weekend away. Huge house, with big bedrooms, with extensive gardens - great for big family gatherings, especially if you are planning eating outside!
Very very close to all the local amenities.

Beautiful. Fabulous kitchen and outdoor space. Very comfy beds and excellent showers.
My only slight criticism is the lounge sitting area isn’t very comfy. Thankfully we were only 2 people but would have struggled with 4/6.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at our cottage in Laugharne. It was fantastically equipped and every little detail was thought of and appreciated by us. Jac was extremely professional as well as discreet. He checked we were okay and we felt was more than happy to help if we had needed.

Our 2nd visit. As we enjoyed it so much the last time. Great views, lovely little village, handy location for both long walks with the dog or shorter walks with the kids. Hot tub was maintained daily. And the whole house was presented really well. Recommended.

Stayed at Awel Taf, lovely property, nice and spacious, a good base for visiting local beaches.

Lovely and clean - well maintained. Busy little village considering it is so quiet during the day. Some lovely places to eat out. House is perfect for a couple. Easy communication with Great Welsh Escapes - no problems at all. Would recommend to others.

I've stayed in many places on the UK and this was by far the best weekend I've ever had. There's far too much to list that was good, it literally had everything and so much more!

There's absolutely nothing I could say that I didn't like about this accommodation.

Beautiful quiet location ideal for walking/running/cycling in the Brecon Beacons

A beautiful home with the most spectacular grounds , right in the centre of Laugharne. The house is lovely and homely.
We loved our stay there with the family.

What three words is very useful. Walking boots and all weather jackets are good things to keep.
It is recommended to buy things before checking in as Superstore is few miles.

Firstly this place is just so amazing, stunning inside, very clean, really good communication, planty of space for our dog, and much more good things I definitely recommend this place and planning already to come back soon.

A beautiful and stylish property. The rooms are spacious with good quality furniture. The window at the front is huge and provides a wonderful view over Laugharne. Good sized oven and hob as well as large fridge . Separate freezer on the utility with washing and drying facilities.
The property was sparkling clean and we appreciated the nice toiletries and welcome tea, coffee etc.
No hesitation in recommending - we all had a wonderful Easter stay.

Lovely space on one level, great for little ones. Grand parents escaped to the annexe, which was rented separately, well equipped, bed linen beautiful , kitchen brilliant for larger numbers, two ovens, two fridges , great area, laugherne is special, and close to those important beaches for the little ones . We had a great week ! Perfect house, perfect location

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

Two day into the holiday, the children are already asking to come back next year—this says something about the place!
