From the main road leaving St Clears to Laugharne, enter the quiet back street onto the private driveway to find the pretty bungalow with a variety of garden spaces. Enter the main hallway which leads into a modern open plan kitchen diner with small flat screen TV, with ample seating for 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for rusting up a family meal, after a nice riverside walk. Sit and relax with a book and enjoy the peaceful outlook from the conservatory while the children play board games on the dining table.

Enjoy a cosy evening in front of the gas fire watching a film on the 46 inch SMART TV in the sitting room with the comfortable leather sofas. The large utility area is perfect for throwing off your walking boots or beach wear.

Enter back through the hallway to reach the bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a 32 inch tv and double bed with ample storage. There is a further bedroom with a double bed and additional bunk beds, ideal for use as a family with young children. There is a 3rd bedroom with bunk beds and restricted space but suitable for 2 children.

There is a good size bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a utility room to throw off your sandy clothes or walking boots.

This property is perfect for 2 families or multi-generational holidays. As all the accommodation is on one floor, it may suit guests with restricted mobility.

There are several garden areas, one with a gently sloping lawn, shrubs and a garden bench. There is a small enclosed area to the back of the property.

There is ample off road parking for 3 cars, and access to a garage to store any bikes or water sports equipment. Also some outdoor games for children.

Other things to note

- Pet fees apply - £25 per dog
- The property ideally suits 6 people due to it's seating arrangements, and offering a family quad room. But can accommodate 8 guests with a max of 4 adults and 4 children
- Access statement available on request

St Clears is a charming town with good road links, a good choice of coffee shops, independent shops, small supermarkets and a handful of pubs. There are several good choices of places to eat including an award winning Indian restaurant, local pubs serving good food and some restaurants on the outskirts a short drive away. There are local pretty riverside walks, and a kids play park nearby.

St Clears is also perfectly located to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, and is 4 miles to Laugharne and 9 miles to Carmarthen.

Laugharne is a small town sitting on the estuary of the Taf River and offers stunning estuary walks, including the infamous Dylan Thomas Birthday Walk. Laugharne is located on the Taf estuary, and its backdrop are the dramatic ruins of a Norman Castle, a popular visitor attraction. Laugharne has a good choice of cafes and restaurants and coastal walks.

There are also a good choice of outdoor activities available in the area, ranging from horse riding, coasteering, to a variety of water sports, abseiling, orienteering, caving and gorge walking.

There are many beautiful rugged beaches in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, along with the more popular coastal resorts of Pendine, Saundersfoot and Tenby.

There is an abundance of interesting attractions locally, including Castles, historic houses and National Botanical Gardens to name a few.

For the younger generation we are a short drive away from the likes of Folly Farm, Oakwood, Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Dinosaur Park to name a few.

If you are a "foodie" then there is a fantastic choice of restaurants within a 20 - 30 minute's drive ranging from Coast in Coppet Hall to Y Polyn, just 5 minutes from Carmarthen.

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Very well equipped and homely accommodation and immaculately clean. Rural spot for being in a town so private and quiet idea for families and local coastal towns sych as Tenby, Pendine, Saundersfoot & Laugharne are a stone's throw away. Very enjoyable. My only very slight grumble (but I can't complain as it is as advertised) is that there is only one bathroom/loo for 8 guests but it was not a problem..we were 2 families including 4 children of varying ages....that said we'd definitely return and would highly recommend it for acquiet base for exploring the area.

A great little place to stay, a couple of small inaccuracies in the ad but we had a great time, especially the children.

We spent two weeks in this lovely bungalow which is much bigger than the pictures suggest.

Everything guests could possibly need during their stay is there and is all spotlessly clean

We would highly recommend Dyffryn Taf to anyone wanting a comfortable base from which to explore all that this beautiful part of Wales has to offer.

Very cosy and tidy house. Very quiet surroundings and a bit to drive for the more interesting to-dos (beaches, castles/houses/gardens) of the region.
