Booked it for my in _laws as a little thankyou for all the work they have done in our and grand daughters garden
They had a lovely time watching the chickens in the eve
The owners were very friendly
A lovely welcome pack awaited them of eggs from the chickens and home made honey also from the bees they kept

There was nothing everything was perfect

the perfect half term holiday break for me, my wife, our 13 year old and dog. Matt, the host, couldn't have been more responsive, or helpful. The property itself was idyllic, matched only by the breathtaking countryside. Scenic beach walks less than half an hour's drive away. A swimming pool and sauna less than half a minute's stroll away. We are now back in London and already want to return....

The Old School House was just perfect for our Christmas away .
The place was spotless , it was decorated for Christmas which was lovely .
It is even better in real life than the pictures and was so much bigger .
My family of 4 and our 2 dogs has plenty of room.
The location of Brook was quiet and peaceful and only 2 & 1/2 miles in either direction to reach the next place .
Laugharne was very pretty and we walked around the castle , we visited Dylan Thomas writing Shed .
The local shop had all we needed .
In the other direction was Pendine and we took the dogs for a run on the beach on Christmas Day .
We would definitley recommend and would love to return .

The apartment was very well equipped. Every small detail/need had been thought of. It was very comfortable & homely. Parking & security entrance was good. Sarah the host was excellent in checking everything was ok when we arrived. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped & the lighting was perfect & like home from home. Cannot recommend highs enough

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of a modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like it! Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst staying at the property. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my Mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this property is dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! I miss it already!

Fell in love with this house it is so beautiful even though it is so big it feels warm and inviting I loved the cosy room downstairs with panel Windows throwing light into the room I would definitely recommend a visit you will be delighted with this charming house

We had such an amazing time at this place, it was beautiful inside the bungalow and outside with the fantastic scenery and how peaceful it was. The host was very kind and helpful as she came to see us a couple minutes after we arrived to talk us through the hot tub and about the place and nearby attractions. Hot tub was so warm and relaxing, temperature inside the house was comfortable and it was very clean and shiny, I would highly recommend this place to couples who want a peaceful weekend away. We are already planning on going back very soon, that's how beautiful and cheap It was!!

Location was great and place was comfortable. We had a problem on one night with the shower and by the morning it was fixed so really good service.
Fresher towels as they were quite worn. The main bed was a bit hard.

Absolutely fabulous apartment, clean and tidy, very high spec. Everything you need at hand. We were blessed with hot weather. Short walk from Pendine beach. Fabulous views of coastline.

What a lovely property! Three double bedrooms, all with en-suites. The house is high-spec with everything supplied that you could wish for. I heartily recommend if you are a Dylan Thomas fan or just want to check out the area. Response to issues was also super-quick.

Everything was excellent. Accommodation , location for beach, restaurants, shops.

It wouldn't be suitable for anybody with a disability, as the hill may be a problem and we had steps up to first floor apartment.

Sunnybank is to be highly recommended, Hazel was an amazing host & left us a beautiful welcome basket of goodies, it was much appreciated. Location is great, just what we wanted, nice & peaceful & the hot tub was very welcome after a long day exploring. Bed was so comfortable & the accessible shower & handrails were much appreciated by my husband.

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

The Cors is the place to be for a relaxed inter generational family get together. The gardens are stunning and the stylish house is full of eclectic treats.

Het ligt direct naast het huis van de eigenaren Lloyd en Buddug en hun superleuke hondjes. Het zijn hele fijne en attente mensen die je graag helpen bij vragen en die ook nog eens heerlijke honing maken. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien; aanrader!

We had a 3 night stay at Dylan's Den in Laugharne and it was amazing. 4 well appointed en-suite bedrooms and a lovely cosy lounge area and kitchen. Plenty of room for the 7 of us (and our dog)
We were also left a comprehensive welcome pack which was gratefully received. If you haven't been to Laugharne then you really should add it to your list of places to visit. Wonderful.
Jac was very communicative throughout our stay, checking in that all was well, which of course it was, but it we still appreciated the fact he cared. We would love to return to Laugharne one day and would certainly aim to stay at Dylan's Den when we do..Thanks again.

Very enjoyable few days in Laugharne. The cottage was peaceful, well equipped and very well located for eateries, pubs and access to tourist spots in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Discovering the bottle of Prosecco and Bara Brith on arrival was a nice surprise.

Beautiful apartment on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the sea. Cosy vibe and great Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of good quality utensils and a dish washer. Heating is very good. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The location and view from the property was simply stunning.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

Had a great weeks stay at The Old School, it’s a very unique stay full of character. You can eat at the grand dining area or the cozy conservatory. Well equipped and comfortable. It’s in a great location, a few miles from Pendine Beach.. and a great restaurant ‘Dexters’ at Laugharne, for a first class meal! Half an hour to Tenby Beach and 20 mins to Carmarthen.
Definitely worth booking a holiday at this fabulous accommodation.

The property and grounds surpassed all expectations. Everything was spotless, the amenities are fantastic, including the hottub with outstanding views. The grounds are perfect for an explorative toddler with a lot of energy.
We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back soon!
Great escapes were fantastic with communication prior to and during our stay and we would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Ideally 4th double or single room would have been useful.
We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

All perfect. Lovely friendly hosts. Beautiful quiet location with stunning views. Free home grown fruit and veg.

Beautiful property (as good or better than the photos suggest!). Any issues we had were answered immediately and we really enjoyed the basket of local treats waiting for us on arrival!

The Cottage, Laugharne.
The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Staff at Great Welsh Escapes were helpful and contactable when needed.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

The cottage is very cosy. Living room is cosy with a large fireplace but plenty of space. The sofas are a bit tired but not a problem.
We travelled during a 30°+ heat wave and the living room was very cool due to the stone walls which made it a very welcome place to be!
The garden is lovely and full of secret paths for the kids but be warned, there is a pond exposed, so no good for toddlers.
The area is fantastic with Pembrokeshire coast and loads of things for the kids.
Only gripe is that there is no parking by the cottage other than a layby. There is a car park 150 yards up the road however which allows you to see some incredible scenery of the area, so absolutely this is not a negative overall.
Worth mentioning that there is no TV signal or mobile coverage although there was broadband and WiFi available.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. it's a fabulous house in a great location with some of the best views you'll find anywhere. The house itself was perfect for the six of us and provided plenty of space both indoors and out. Laugharne is a lovely little town and is a great base from which to explore Camathenshire and Pembrokeshire.
We were so happy to find this property at such short notice and Michelle at Great Welsh Escapes was very helpful with all aspects during our stay.

It has been a lovely week staying at the Old School. The house is very well presented and has all you need for your stay. The Kitchen is well equipped making it a ready home from home. The beds were very comfortable. It’s just a short drive to local beaches - the only downside is that you can not walk safely from the house to neighbouring towns. We would return to stay here for sure - thank you for having us!

I booked this house for a birthday trip for my Mum and nieces. The communication prior to arriving was great. It provided lots of info not just about the house but also about the area and restaurants etc.

The house is filled with character and history but restored to a incredibly high standard.

The bedrooms and en suites with lovely and the sitting room and snug just wonderful. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and stylish.

I would highly recommend this property and will certainly be returning.

Maes Y Mêl was absolutely beautiful - the property was spotless, it was a very cosy feel and the decor was amazing! I stayed for 8 days and did not want to leave as it was so homely inside! The views from around the property are breath taking! Both hosts living next to the property were lovely and very accommodating! I was left with some homemade honey from on the farm and some eggs from the chickens! Both delicious 10/10 all round!

We loved our stay at the Boathouse, which was set in a quiet and beautiful location and within easy reach of most major attractions that we wanted to see (less than 30-45 mins away for pretty much everything). We had the pool to ourselves every time we used it, and it was great to be able to access it basically any time we wanted to. We had one minor issue with the water pressure one day but the hosts were great and fixed it in short order, so no complaints from us. We would definitely stay again next time we go to South Wales - rare find indeed.

We had a wonderful and relaxing family weekend here. The house is amazing and lots of thoughtful details provided. Lovely nearby walks and pubs.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Incredibly spacious. Very modern. Immaculate. Great value! The hosts made us feel very welcome. The location is so peaceful and very quiet. We would highly recommend staying. In a beautiful location too!!!

What a lovely house. The living room was very spacious, light and airy thanks to the double aspect windows and huge front window with view over the local area.
There was so much space, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Very quiet and close enough to the town to walk.

The boathouse is a lovely little escape with complete peace, along with being close to local towns and beaches. The place is as described and as you see in the photos. The private pool and sauna is such a nice addition too, which our son loved. Our dogs were so excited by the lake and cows, and wanted to always been outside in the enclosed area.
Great Welsh Escapes sent through clear instructions before hand, and proactively messaged me on day 1 to ensure I had everything I needed. This was a nice touch!
Richard, the owner and farmer, was super welcoming and made an effort to come out when we arrived to show us around personally. When we had a small issue I text Richard and he walked down almost immediately to help. He also spent a little while answering all my silly questions about dairy farming and his cows!!
We certainly plan to go back in the future and stay again :)

Direction given were easy to follow.
upon arrival we had a card and hamper waiting for us on the table which was definitely a nice touch.
The cottage was spotless clean and had every possible thing you can think of to make our stay comfortable. we felt at home straight away.
The host, Hazel was easily reachable and so very friendly.
10 mins drive in to town and 10 mins away from the beach and castle. in a very quiet and peaceful area.
highlight was the hot tub.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

Fabulous time had by all. A couple of early niggles were quickly and efficiently sorted out. Beautiful property and the weather has been sunny and hot all week.

Excellent bungalow, very cosy and well equipped. Dog friendly with fairly secure back garden. Michelle and Helen, the owner were very helpful and suggested good places to eat and visit. Had a delicious dinner at Brown’s Hotel and brilliant fish and chips from the wonderful woman in the local fish and chip shop in Laugharne. A really lovely holiday, thank you.

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

A lovely home in a nice village close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and costal walks. We really enjoyed the home and will be back again. A visit to the castle with the kids is also great fun. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful house with a very high level of comfort and well equipped with everything needed. Excellent location. Unfortunately the Covid situation means that some businesses are not fully open or open at all at the moment but those that were, were very friendly. Great to see that the preventative measures are being taken very seriously both in Laugharne and West Wales generally.

My wife and I haven't been away since April and a short break is just what we needed. This property is amazing, right in the heart of Laugharne with parking outside. It was perfect for what we wanted and we only used the car once to go and visit Pendine beach. We ate in Arthur's which we really enjoyed, the Portreeves and had Sunday lunch in Browns Hotel. We can see why Dylan Thomas was so fond of this place. Thanks to our hosts

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

Our stay at The Old School House in Carmarthenshire was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with underfloor heating and a boiling water tap, was impressive, and we were greeted with a lovely hamper.
The living room had a cosy sofa facing an 83-inch OLED TV with a great sound system. Every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suites was finished to the highest standard.
The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day, and it was here my partner proposed—I’m happy to say, I said yes!
The house is easy to find, with ultra-fast gigabit broadband and immaculate cleanliness.
We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Amazing place, so unique. The house is more spacious than we expected and it has a lovely log burner which gives it such a cosy feel. You need a car to get around as there is not much nearby that’s walkable but this wasn’t a problem for us. The cafe around the other side of the house did a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

Fantastic weekend away the accommodation was amazing with plenty of room. The location was ideal great restaurants in the area highly recommend milk wood house and there were also some lovely walks.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

We LOVED York Lodge - Laugharne is beautiful and although I didn't know much about Dylan Thomas before I went, reading his 'Poem in October' written on his 30th birthday; whilst walking his 'birthday walk' (in October) and seeing what he was looking at and referring to was one of the most moving experiences. The emotion of it took me by surprise! The views are out of this world and a short walk from York Lodge. I am SO glad we came here and will most definitely come back again.

Beautifully styled compact cottage situated on the high street close to the amenities of Laugharne. Everything in the village is a short walk away, including the magnificent castle down the hill. We liked the Farrow and Ball decor. The galleried bedroom area upstairs, not shown in the spec, had a wow effect when we first viewed it, presented in a boutique hotel style. Best of all the bathroom with a great walk in shower. Everything in the property felt brand new and was immaculate upon our arrival. All in all I would be happy to recommend this property to anyone wanting a break in this part of Wales.

Chapel View in Laugharne is a wonderful, comfortable, well-equipped little cottage. Great communication and easy check-in. Would thoroughly recommend Great Welsh Escapes.

Nice apartment very close to beach just up the hill. Sea views and well appointed inside.
Parking space was a real bonus for evening visits to town avoided having to pay for parking in town.

We booked this place last minute and we wasn’t disappointed, upon arrival down the driveway we was amazed. The house impressed us in many ways, quirky, stylish, comfortable, homely, different but most of all very enjoyable. Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

Comfortable, well equipped cottage-very friendly village and easy to access super beaches.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

It was absolutely beautiful. Clean and bright and everything you thought you’d need they had it. Beautiful bathroom, bedrooms, kitchen and lounge it was exceptional. The hot tub was fabulous and relaxing. The beds were so comfy and it’s so peaceful there too. We had a fantastic weekend and will be returning. Highly recommend 10⭐️

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Cannot rate this property highly enough. Great Welsh Escapes were very communicative and the host left a beautiful hamper as well as chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco! What an unexpected treat and given the condition and quality of the accommodation not even necessary. The property was filled to the brim with thoughtful household necessities. You LITERALLY need clothes food and personal toiletries to stay at Sunnybank. Fantastic place! Will definitely recommend. Thank you 💯👌🏼

A beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. Gwalia house has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The welcome gifts included home grown tomatoes and a delicious wine as well as some beautiful cut flowers. Also appreciated the very comfy beds and how clean the property was kept. Laugharne is a quaint and peaceful town with the castle, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. We recommend the local Dylan Thomas Boathouse walk. There’s lovely views of the Gower and River Taf. Also not too far away - a 30-45 minute drive - if you want to visit different parts of the South Pembrokeshire coast.

we had a lovely holiday at footprints beautiful clean and modern apartment everything we needed. close to beach and town .a little tricky to find to start but with a little help we found it .got to be one of the best places we have ever stayed at...the people were so friendly and the pubs and restaurants were superb fully recommend. just loved it ...🙂😊🏖😎

I love Wales and this is a great place to stay for Pembrokeshire.
The coast is a 4 minute drive and parking to gorgeous freshwater west.
Pembroke is 10 mins away and a lovely town. Go to the games cafe on the high street for fun and get the scoop on best places to eat.
We felt at home in the barn. The weather was awful with high winds across the SW and it rained every day but we felt so toasty once we were inside after a day out. The home heating is very clever and we popped on the lovely fire when needed.
Despite the weather we managed to have a wonderful time. I’ve never laughed so much trying to stand up with high winds.
Plenty of wonderful dog friendly places.
Bring your wellies!

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!

It’s a beautiful home and the location is very peaceful perfect for evening walks….Only downside is the parking issue as the street is quite a busy street.

I've stayed in many places on the UK and this was by far the best weekend I've ever had. There's far too much to list that was good, it literally had everything and so much more!

There's absolutely nothing I could say that I didn't like about this accommodation.

Nice big house in a quiet location with a good size garden and terrace. 3 good size double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Lots of room for the 6 of us plus a dog. It was an easy 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village which had at least 4 pubs, a castle and a beautiful walk along the river. Good walks in the area and easy to get to lovely beaches at Pendine, Tenby and Amroth. We will be back.

A couple of minor things need fixing in the on-suite which I notified the agents about. These did not prevent us from using it and in no way affected our stay.

The position and the views. Well equipped. Decorated for Christmas and a lovely hamper. Spacious.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. All the facilities at the property were in excellent condition. Beds very comfortable. Lovely views. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

Outstanding accommodation, the location in particular provided breathtaking views.
The house itself is very well equipped and there is nothing that you need to buy to make your stay comfortable. A welcome pack of chocolates, biscuits, wine, milk and butter were very much appreciated.
The layout of the property is perfect for a family or couples looking for a relaxing break.
The grounds are perfect for explorative energetic children, our son particularly loved his morning visit to the cows.
I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s an absolute steal and we will definitely be back!

Sunrise Super View , Hot Tub

We had a fantastic staycation experience!

Firstly, the good view we experienced was stunning, especially we witnessed a sunrise you had never seen before. The fact that i am specially mentioning it as it left a strong impression on me .

Additionally, the facility good amenities, including a spacious and clean home and a hot tub. These types of features can make all the difference in creating a relaxing and enjoyable staycation experience.

Overall, it was very positive and happy time we spent with family.
Thanks again as this stay will remain in our and my 6 year old girl memories forever.

A truly unique property in a superb setting!

A great house for a small family celebration with rooms that lend themselves to all manner of occasion! The bar room was a hit for our cocktail and karaoke evening, the large dining room perfect for large family meals and the cinema room was just perfect for a lazy Sunday after a walk around the boathouse and a stop at the local pub!

All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and made for a cosy nights sleep!

Would highly recommend for families or groups looking to reconnect after a particularly tricky year!

The Cottage was the perfect family house for the 12 of us ranging from 10 to 75 years. We loved the amazing views from the sun room and garden. It was an ideal location to base ourselves with beautiful beaches, walks and lots of things to do close by. The house was clean and very well kept, Great Welsh Escapes were responsive and quick to reply to any questions and kept in touch through out the stay. We had a fabulous Family Holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

Had a fantastic 3 nights at the bungalow. Nice and spacious, fantastic views and very peaceful.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

A good base for exploring the area. We took the option of renting the annex as well so my son good work for part of the time. Highly recommend both property’s.

A beautiful house in a stunning part of Wales with access to lots of activities. The hosts are very welcoming and looked after all our needs.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

We had a bad experience staying at another Airbnb so we panicked and found this to be available (luckily) at short notice for the last 3 nights of our house hunting holiday. The cottage had only just been listed and it turns out we were the first guests ever. Everything brand spanking new. Amazing shower. DISHWASHER! TBH I’d give anywhere 8/10 just for this. Super helpful hosts. Lovely village. Sooo friendly. Everyone we met. Big shoutout for the deli next door - outstanding food and a treasure trove of scoffable luxuries. Oh yes, and great wine

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

Absolutely beautiful setting for us. Felt quite and out the way but still close enough to grab groceries. We had a car so we was happy to drive to the top beaches in wales each day from here was around 50 minutes really happy with our pick with this one Highly recommended
