Absolutely beautiful setting for us. Felt quite and out the way but still close enough to grab groceries. We had a car so we was happy to drive to the top beaches in wales each day from here was around 50 minutes really happy with our pick with this one Highly recommended

The Cors was ideal for us, a party of two families with 5 teenagers between us. The house itself was homely and charming, and the location is great to explore this stunning part of Wales. Plenty of space to get together as a group, or to have some time to yourself.

Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

Simply put, the apartment was great. There was no concerns with being there; a little dusty on the kitchen worktop, but nothing seemed out of place or dirty. Great comms from the host; responsive, friendly and pleasant. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody.

One of the nicest places I've stayed when using AirBnB. A little expensive, but what isn't these days, and it was Easter weekend, so no real complaints there.

The location was good. It was on a main road out of Saundersfoot, so it had a little traffic noise, which was hardly noticeable. A 5-10 minute walk up a hill from the centre of town and out of the way enough that getting out was simple. Convenient parking too.

Just an astonishing house, I think the most beautiful place I've ever stayed - the photos, beautiful as they are, don't quite do it justice. The restoration work on this old Georgian house has to be seen to be believed. Our teenagers loved the pool, the outside area and barbecue are wonderful, the bedrooms are breathtaking and very comfortable. Laugharne is wonderful and very friendly, and there are beautiful walks on your doorstep. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Communication was excellent, hosts were on hand and always helpful. Easy journey there, 4 hours from London. Great local trips to llansteffan, laugharne, pending.

This was a brilliant property, with all the comforts you would want and a very well equipped kitchen. It has very generous sized social areas and kitchen for 8 people and it was great how close to the estuary and castle it was too. Would definitely visit again!

Lovely spacious and well equipped house in a beautiful setting. It offered everything we needed to settle in and relax for a long weekend, with the ability to verge out for local walks to the beach and castle. Would recommend for large groups - great outdoor area as well as large drive for parking.

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of a modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like it! Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst staying at the property. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my Mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this property is dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! I miss it already!

A wonderful, grand, lovely home. Sprawling yet cozy with wonderful details, creaking, undulating amazing wood floors, big window, period furniture…on and on. Really a treat. The pool is a nice option which we enjoyed often as we visited during quite a warm time. Enjoyed nightly dinners on the lovely top terrace. Property is exactly as it is described on the site.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

Spent two days at the Lloret, it is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Laugharne. Really well presented accommodation in an amazing location. The view of the castle and the Taf Estuary are amazing. It is also a short walk from the Grist and the castle, so it is easy to walk into town for some food or a drink. We had space to park four cars without any problem, and finding it is very easy. The owners were very friendly and came over to help with the hot tub after the first day. Overall would highly recommend that anybody looking to visit Laugharne or the surrounding area visit the Lloret.

Everything about it was perfect from start to finish!
Ideal location for lovely dog walks (which were even lovely in the rain) a beautiful garden to admire and an immaculate house full to the brim with everything and more than you need!
The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a must to visit!
Jac as a host went above and beyond from start to finish for us, from answering questions before our arrival to going out of his way to replace items whilst we were there!
Cannot recommend this house enough, it’s an ideal family home to enjoy quality time together in an ideal location.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!

Having the right code upon arrival seemed to be an issue. Maybe my fault for not understanding the procedure.

My wife and I haven't been away since April and a short break is just what we needed. This property is amazing, right in the heart of Laugharne with parking outside. It was perfect for what we wanted and we only used the car once to go and visit Pendine beach. We ate in Arthur's which we really enjoyed, the Portreeves and had Sunday lunch in Browns Hotel. We can see why Dylan Thomas was so fond of this place. Thanks to our hosts

Our stay at Chapel View in Laugharne, Carmarthen was excellent. The cottage is ideal for two and decorated in modern style and comfort. It is well located in the centre of the upper town and is secure and quiet thanks to double glazing. We really enjoyed Laugharne and the surrounding area.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Cottage is great, very clean and cosy. Well equipped with everything you need and with a lovely garden in a very peaceful location. About a 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Laugharne with plenty of cafes and places to eat.

A clean, bright and airy bungalow with great views and space that works well for families. Thoughtfully well equipped. Plenty of storage for all those waterproofs and walking boots. It's the last of 3 bungalows in a quiet country lane, very peaceful in the evenings. There's a cute little summer house at the top of the well kept garden from where you can see all the way to the Dylan Thomas Boathouse on the shore of the estuary. Great beaches nearby, especially picturesque Llansteffan. Awesome coasteering 45 mins away at Stackpole Quay with Morfa Bay Adventure. Laugharne itself is missing a good foodie pub, unfortunately Brown's Hotel and the Penderyn Restaurant are currently closed to the public. But go further afield and you can find great food at the Stackpole Inn, The Warren in Carmarthen and the Daffodil Inn near Llandysul.

Beautifully decorated and restored house in Laugharne, close to numerous award winning beaches and walks. Gwalia house truly is an outline place to stay.

We decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful home for a few days and the Old School was perfect. Easy to find, excellent communication from Jess, problem with bathroom light that was quickly rectified whilst we were out and about.

Laugharne is small but peaceful with all amenities you may need (if you need to do a large food shop however I’d do this before you arrive as the convenience store is very limited in terms of veg / selection etc).

I stayed at The Cors Country House with my family for 4 nights in early September 2021 and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! The Cors is a really stunning place to stay - the house is full of character and very comfortable with lots of fun 'extras' like the pool room, the cinema room and lots of games - and the garden is enormous and very tranquil and beautifully kept! The owners were also very hospitable and responsive and suggested many 'hidden gems' in the nearby area for us to explore, which we loved! We would definitely come back to the Cors or one of the other holiday properties that are available from Great Welsh Escapes - it's a great local company and we 100% recommend them! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maesteg Cottage, it was very well equipped and we found everything that we needed plus a lovely welcome pack including Welsh cakes, wine and coffee. The cottage has a few quirky features including an unusual upstairs toilet!! It is a very comfortable and homely property, particularly the beds, we all slept very well. There is also a beautiful enclosed garden on different layers with a secluded spot at the top where you can sit and enjoy the view in the evening sun. The location is good for visiting a variety of places and we enjoyed Laugharne, Tenby, Cardigan, Gwbert and Tresaith Beach and waterfall, all within around 35 minutes travel by car from the cottage. We would stay again.

It really is a quiet little haven, a short drive from a beautiful coastline.

Perfect location and very spacious apartment! The large living room and views are amazing.
We were lucky to be there during a heatwave so spent most of our time on the beaches. We left the car at the multi-storey car park for the whole week as everything you need is in walking distance. Car park only cost £30 for the week.
Kids were happy with the beach toys on offer at the accommodation to play with.
Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great.
Would definitely stay here again!

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at the bunglow, it was more than we ever expected, made even better with the incredible views of Laugharne Village, Castle & Estuary from the bunglow and the hot tub! Everything was A*. Will definitely return.

We had a fabulous stay at York Lodge in Laugharne. York Lodge was clean, modern, wonderfully equipped and a great size for our party of 6. Laugharne is a lovely village with an amazing family run deli called The Ferryman and some other good food options. The team at Great Welsh Escapes were so responsive, helpful and professional, I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them.

We were three families of six adults and five children. This was a lovely property in a great location and is worth visiting. It’s beautiful inside and out with very nice grounds. The photos didn’t really do it justice. Location great too.

We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the Annexe has been finished to a high standard and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
An excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
The kitchen and accomodation is well equipped, there's even a BBQ and outdoor seating!

Picton cottage studio was beautiful and immaculate. It is furnished to a very high standard. Lovely, warm, peaceful and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was really good, so close to Laugharne, St clears and the Pembrokeshire coast.
Picton house hotel 100yrds away serving superb food and entertainment and the Savoy Inn about a mile away also serving great food. Will definitely go back and reccomend.

The house was great - so beautiful - the different spaces suited the needs of three generations and 7 people, with lots of places to hang out in. Everywhere was very spacious and cosy, with lots of interesting art work on the walls. We felt some of the furniture was looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of an overhaul.
It was a great location, with lots of interesting walks on the door step and a beach with cafes a 10 minute drive away. We had a fantastic meal at Dexters at Browns, moments from the house and there were enough shops in the town to pick up a few bits and peaces.

The enclosed garden was great. Our dogs really enjoyed running around. Plenty of parking spaces. Room for 3 cars. The verandas were fab. Plenty of room on both verandas. The property was large enough for plenty of people and very cosy. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus.

The only downside was the little bit of road going to the property was quite bumpy and the cold water tap wasn’t working in the main bathroom shower but could be easily rectified.

Had a lovely stay host was very welcoming kids and dog loved it.

Myself, my daughter, husband and dog have all enjoyed a much overdue weekend break away in Laugharne in this beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and though the house was stunning. The location is super convenient to all the amenities in town, including a lovely costal walk for the dog. The tv room with large couch was absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evenings at home whilst our baby slept upstairs. The outdoor area was such a treat during this amazing weather we have experienced. The bbq was perfect too. Thank you so much for having us, the house was immaculate and we look forward to coming to stay again soon

The boat house is exactly as described, there is lots of outside space which was perfect for the dogs and fully fenced.
The house is on the small side, but had everything we needed. There is little headspace upstairs, but was fine for our two boys.
Having the pool to ourselves was amazing and it is huge!
Richard was on hand a great host.
Location is perfect, 15 mins max to the beach. Chip shop, shop and pub within a 5 min drive.

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

Beautiful, peaceful area, neighbours were very friendly. Lovely house that was well equipped and beautifully furnished. Very clean, bathrooms were spotless and well equipped with two showers, one downstairs and one upstairs in the family bathroom and with a bath. Beds were very comfortable, with clean linen and bath towels. Well equipped kitchen, with everything needed during our stay. Thank you for the bubbles and biscuits, they were very nice.
I would definitely try to book this place again when I return to the area.

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

Very well appointed house with all mod cons. Tons of parking space - and an easy woodland amble down to the metropolis that is Laugharne.
Great village stores for all the things you forgot and a friendly neighbour (we couldn’t track down) who let in the grocery delivery which pitched up 24 hours early!

Gwalia House was simply perfect. Beautifully decorated and with everything you need.
The house has a comforting feel with the most restful beds and rooms where the light floods in.
I’m the evenings, games and books to entertain.
Laugharne was quant, quirky, friendly, and full of history.
Make sure to visit the 3 Mariners, Poons, the Deli and Choices gift shop.
Couldn’t have been a better half term with family.

One of our favourite places to stay ever. Everything about it was wonderful. The dining room was our favourite. Although a family holiday, eating our evening meal in such a room, we felt we need to dress up, such was the grandeur :0)

Ideal place to spend a week with the family. The Cors has very impressive gardens and a peaceful location with uniquely styled rooms. An excellent location for walks , pubs, castle & Dylan's Boathouse.

An absolutely stunning farm house in a magical setting. Myself and my partner have stressful jobs, and live near Manchester, so to come here for absolute peace and tranquility was well needed, and couldn’t be faulted.

The farm house is kept to a high standard, with everything you needed within. Check in was easy, and we were contacted to ensure we knew who to turn to should we need any help.

The location is right on the Black Mountain, and weather conditions naturally can make the property a bit difficult to navigate to and from, however the road isn’t too bad, but we were glad for our 4x4!

The views and remoteness you get for this however are well worth it!

We will 100% be staying here again, and look forward to our next trip here. We already miss it terribly x

We really enjoyed our stay in Tenby, the property was great and really roomy. We would definitely return. The only negative I would say is the camera in the back garden, it felt a little intrusive when you're trying to relax.

Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

Amazing place for a quiet weekend away. Ponds in gardens so you need to keep an eye on young children. We had a great time, plenty to see and do in and around the area.

An amazing place for our family stay. The kids wanted a pool, and I was relieved that it was warm enough (I’ve stayed at places with pools that are too cold to actually swim in before). The bedrooms and bathrooms are all fabulous and a little bit bonkers. (I’m glad we didn’t take my elderly mother in the end though, as there are uneven floors and staircases without handrails.) The neighbours were really friendly, the village has everything you need and the beaches in the area are sublime.

What an incredible place The Cors is! Beautiful setting and amazing character throughout. A very well-equipped kitchen and games room kept us busy through the Welsh rain. Being pet-friendly it was ideal for our collie, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the comfort the house provides. The WiFi was a little weak in the cinema room but really not a concern when you have Sonos throughout the ground floor. Excellent communication made for a seamless check-in/out experience. Overall a perfect long weekend!

We are a family of 5 and the house was definitely spacious enough for us. The views are breathtaking and the area is just so beautiful. We took time to enjoy the peace and the beautiful stars at night. The castle wonderful to see and the people were so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend.

Great location -very short distance to Laugharne and great base for visiting Folly Farm, Tenby and other local tourist attractions.

Clean and homely - the property is lovely and clean. we appreciatedthe homely feel and the yummy welcome treats!

Ideal for small families - we took our baby girl. It was such a relief that the property already had a travel cot and snack chair which fits onto the dining room chair so we didn't have to worry about packing as much stuff. Only issue is that there is no bath tub to wash baby in but we took a little baby bath tub with us which was no problem.

The house is set is within its own beautiful gardens . You really feel like you've escaped into your own private space. It is a short walk into Laugharne for the castle and shops and a couple good beaches are a short drive away (try Sandersfoot). The house itself is spacious and had plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. We used the room by the creek and fell asleep to running water each night. All the adult rooms have en suite bathrooms and tvs. The cinema room was well used for morning cartoons and late night tv watching.

Jac was a great host and knows the local area very well.

Beautiful characterful house, with a gorgeous garden. The situation is very peaceful but shops and restaurants/pubs are in easy walking distance. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family party and a small dog (who spent a lot of time on the very welcome dog bed - much bigger than his at home!). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

It's a beautiful house in a great location overlooking the town. We had plenty of space and everything we needed as a group of five adults and two kids. We would be happy to stay there again.

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

This place is an absolute treasure. Very spacious, tastefully decorated and in the most beautiful setting. We loved that we could just walk out the door and could tramp around the Brecons. Our labrador loved the choice of two fireplaces and the garden is very dog friendly and secure. Do yourself a favour and have a bottle of bubbly on the hill watching the sunset go down - just magical.

We loved how isolated the property was - but it is best to come prepared for for your trip. Whilst the kitchen is well kitted out with crockery, kitchenware etc - no basics such as oil, sugar etc are provided (?due to COVID) and we got caught out on the first night. However, all in all a wonderful weekend away.

We booked the place for our staff and it was just what they needed. Nice and clean.

The property is over 3 floors and offered loads of space for a group of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and we were able to travel by car to a number of local attractions. We will probably book again in the future.

It wouldn't be suitable for anybody with a disability, as the hill may be a problem and we had steps up to first floor apartment.

Had an amazing stay as a family here. So close to the beach which is really easily accessible and has everything you could want in a beach including amazing rock pools.

Well what can I say about our stay at the bungalow apart from WOW! It’s is definitely modern and it is situated perfectly with beautiful views throughout the whole bungalow.

It has everything you need from comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, spacious kitchen plus of course the large hot tub, you can't help but enjoy yourselves.

It was clean, with plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the hot tub! There was coffee, tea, scones and Prosecco which was a lovely touch.

I would highly recommend.

Lovely stay. V clean. Large rooms and lovely space with guide book/home finishes. Good location for Tenby, Saundersfoot and the coast as well as to Pembrokeshire west coast and the Gower. Local amenities in the village and v friendly hosts.

What a wonderful place for a getaway. Michelle was so helpful and a lovely introduction to Round Park. The village centre is literally 5 mins walk down the lane. Would highly recommend.
