we had a very relaxed week in beautiful surroundings and the pool and sauna were an added bonus 😀

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return

Everything about this property is great and very good service from the Great Welsh Escapes, Good location to explore south/west of wales. Nice village. Kids enjoyed the stay at this house.For sure will book this property next time.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Sunny Bank, an idyllic and private with every single thing you can imagine. We were provided with a full tea service and dinner set, basics for breakfast, bathrobes and towels for the stay as well as towels for the hot tub. I honestly think every possible amenity was thought about and provided. The cottage is on a family farm and you have complete privacy, esp in the hot tub which made the stay perfect for us.
The owners live down the road and when we told them the engine light had come on, on the car, and we needed to find a garage they came over and sorted the car, we needed oil but they also added screen wash and coolent and gave further advice. They went above and beyond.
You also don't have to worry about the hot tub, they come and treat it for you daily.
These are truly good people

The hosts were really nice and accommodating. when we had unplanned arrivals join us, at our request they got the neighbouring air B’n’B set up and ready for our guests straightaway so that they had their own space. Lovely place to stay, they’ve got really friendly goats just outside the decking area too!

Excellent place to stay if you are looking for the whole family accommodation. Everything’s available. Except of course you just need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The rest is provided. Grocery shops are walking distance anyway. The location is perfect if you drive around especially going to the beach and other site seeing’s. But the accommodation for me is perfect. Safe and quiet.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It is in a great location to explore this part of Wales. There is so much to see and do. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Great showers and comfy beds. Spacious space and we enjoyed the out door space. Lovely to see the horses in the field in the morning.

We also had a great meal in the hotel next door.

Absolutely blown away by our stay, the accommodation is beyond beautiful and has that wow factor as soon as you walk in. The house is beautifully done and so well equipped! It was perfect for our yearly get away with friends and family and I couldn’t recommend it more and we can’t wait to come back! The location is perfect as it’s nicely tucked away and peaceful but also everything we did was easily accessible! We visited Y Polyn for dinner and would highly recommend this to all guests. My little family and I had a wonderful 5-nights stay in Pendine. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need! Despite the weather being absolutely awful for 4 out of the 5 days, we still had a fab time :) views are unbelievable looking out over the seafront, highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes :)

Really well equipped home (aside from no dishcloths or washing up sponges) with everything you could need - we managed to cook a full roast dinner.
Plenty of space with 2 bathrooms serving the 4 bedrooms.
The living areas were ideal for 2 families with 4 teenage children between them. Kitchen with sitting area and log burner was cosy and a great space.
Utility room was great for the dog and table tennis in the garage kept the teens entertained (Even if it was a bit nippy)
Overall the house was clean. Good sized bath towels (sheets rather than standard towel size) but bath mats would have been a welcome addition. Bedding was comfy.
Fabulous welcome pack and Christmas tree made a warm welcome and we had a great break over the new year.

Absolutely beautiful holiday stay we went away for our anniversary and we loved it , 💕 amazing welcome, really comfortable modern and spotless. We loved the hot tub too , We’ve already booked again . Wonderful hosts and amazing views of the estuary and town, met loads of people laughnies ( from Laugharne ) everyone was really friendly.
We had a fab time , it’s really near to the square where there are pubs , restaurants and lovely walks. Great place to relax and chill 🧘‍♀️ plenty to do and see and we did it in style. 🙏🩷🐶

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Beudy Howel was a beautifully renovated property. It was light & airy and exceptionally well appointed. There was a thoughtful welcome package. Lots of easy to follow instructions and lists of restaurants & beaches. I would highly recommend staying here, it was lovely & quiet.

Hillside location with wonderful view of river Towy estuary. Property is immaculately and comfortably presented with every facility for four adults and two children.

The pictures don't do it justice...we were in town for the laugharne festival... watching the light change on the sea and the tides come and go was very peaceful between gigs.
It was a breeze on the bus from Carmarthen train station...lots of lovely walks and places to eat on the doorstep.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

Had a lovely stay, the team at Great Welsh Escapes were always there and proactive in reaching out. They also messaged to check we had found everything OK.

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Would very much recommend this cottage as a beautiful, relaxing base for the area. A home from home.

Attended for 2 nights as a valentines gift for my girlfriend. Absolutely beautiful location, owners were so friendly and the house was absolutely immaculate not a spec of dust. Everything we needed and more lots of amenities house is in a great location hottub was so clean the house smelt amazing. Can't praise this place enough. Extremely reasonable price we will be coming back for sure!

Just an astonishing house, I think the most beautiful place I've ever stayed - the photos, beautiful as they are, don't quite do it justice. The restoration work on this old Georgian house has to be seen to be believed. Our teenagers loved the pool, the outside area and barbecue are wonderful, the bedrooms are breathtaking and very comfortable. Laugharne is wonderful and very friendly, and there are beautiful walks on your doorstep. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

We loved staying at Drefach! The beautiful massive garden with the hot tub was the highlight of our holiday. We also enjoyed the spacious house that was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

I recently stayed at this beautiful holiday apartment in Saundersfoot & I can honestly say it was perfect in every way. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped — everything I needed was provided and more. The attention to detail really stood out.
The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to explore the shops and bars and nearby coastal walks. Communication with the host was seamless — they were friendly, helpful, and clearly take great pride in making their guests feel welcome.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but this apartment truly did. I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in this part of Wales!

Very easy instructions to follow to access the property and welcomed by the host Richard who as very welcoming . It was the most tranquil property, with beautiful views . So quiet and cosy. We had everything we needed and it was so nice to switch off and fully relax . With a very busy life , we just needed to have space and time, we had amazing use of the pool and sauna and loved the jacuzzi bath ! We didn’t want to leave a review as worried it will get booked up :) it was perfect

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The view was truly incredible and made every moment feel special. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need — nothing was missing.
The house itself was very spacious, stylish, and lovely and warm inside, making it incredibly comfortable and welcoming. We were also so touched by the thoughtful Welsh treats left for us — wine, cheese, and shortbread — such a lovely and generous gesture.

Beautiful house and location! Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions. Lots of things to do in the area and perfectly situated between the Brecon Beacons and pembrokshire. Only small thing I would say was that there was no tea bags, coffee was limited, no olive oil - Little things like this would make life much easier and don’t cost a lot! Wow! What a beautiful property. We really enjoyed it with our extended family. 3 nights of good quality family time. Everything we needed was at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked and was a pleasure to cook in. Rooms were a great size and beds were comfortable. The interior design of the property was perfect with amazing attention to detail. The hot tub was just perfect, worked well and was a hit with some of our younger family members. It was very kid and dog friendly with the property being totally fenced off and gated. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone especially larger families with dogs!

What an absolute gem this place is.
No matter where you look on the property the fews are to die for.
so much to do within a half an hour radius of this place, beaches to the north and south are beautiful.

Laugherne is well worth a visit, unspoiled, clean and tidy with stunning views of the castle and estuary. Go inside the castle grounds, they're a beautiful surprise. Our holiday home for 3 nights was lovely - peaceful and clean with everything you need and we managed to park right outside the front door which we needed. There's a small courtyard but it was in the shade, so we walked 2 mins across the road to sit looking at the castle with a glass of wine as the sun went down.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice house, really clean. Good to have parking.

Great Welsh Escapes' "Gwalia" in Laugharne is an amazing house, steeped in history and beautifully decorated. An ideal base from where to explore the fabulous Welsh beaches and countryside, you will return from there recharged and refreshed. Great local restaurants literally on the doorstep mean you can enjoy fantastic food without having to worry about cooking for yourselves, although there is also a small supermarket 2 minute walk away. We have been twice. We will return again.

As for Great Welsh Escapes themselves, they are friendly, easy to contact and responsive. A great outfit that you can trust.

Absolutely stunning property with everything we needed for our week long stay . Ample room for 10 adults, great outdoor space and pool , good Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean crisp white linen and towels, and perfect location for walking and exploring local countryside and beaches.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Overall, great place to stay at. The pictures appeared as if the property was very spacious however the rooms were smaller than we expected.

We had an absolutely amazing couple of days, the house was spotless and had everything we needed, the grounds are gorgeous and the views were breathtaking, it was so peaceful. We sat watching the sunset from the hot tub to the sound of cows lol it was amazing, we can’t wait to book again! Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

What a lovely cottage! We enjoyed our holiday week in the Sea Gem in Tenby very very much. In this house we instantly felt like home. The place leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We enjoyed the garden having BBQ, practiced yoga and were delighted by the beautiful sea view. The location is so close to the town centre that everything is walkable and it‘s a very convenient starting point exploring Pembrokeshire. We‘d love to come back.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

The views was amazing, apartment was very clean and comfortable.

Our family really enjoyed the peaceful setting. the cottage is perfectly set up. we had everything we needed. The swimming was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place for you.

Nice kitchenette, every thing you could want ,the only negative would be the shower room could have been a little larger ,otherwise comfortable stay .

The Cottage is incredible and I would love to go back in the Summer and make even more use of the outdoor space. The dogs absolutely loved it from arrival to departure. Spacious, clean, warm and delightful.

The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a lovely stay. The garden is large and secure, so we didn’t have to worry about our dog escaping, and it was great to have a heated swimming pool.

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous staycation! Perfect for our family and dogs, loved the apartment, the balcony was huge which gave our dogs a bit of freedom. Couldn't fault it for our requirements.

The steep hill up to it, not a problem for us as we used the car.

We came back today stayed 5 nights over Christmas. Myself, wife and our golden doodle Alfie. Views are amazing short 5 mins drive to Laugharne and 10 minutes to pendine. Super private and we were not bothered at all during our stay.

I absolutely loved staying at Beudy. The beautifully converted barn looks even better in real life than the pictures. The kitchen is so well equipped, hot tub super reliable and comfortable, outdoor space is stunning and so well thought out, decor throughout space is so well curated, parking easy, location fabulous and hosts friendly and also allow for plenty of privacy. I fully recommend staying here :)

Llais y Mor in Llansteffan is a gorgeous house with lovely gardens. Would highly recommend this property. Everthing was just perfect.

The family had a wonderful weekend. The house is perfect for celebrating a family occasion. Very easy to walk to the village and we had a fantastic lunch at Dexter’s. Fantastic weekend away the accommodation was amazing with plenty of room. The location was ideal great restaurants in the area highly recommend milk wood house and there were also some lovely walks.

Everything was as expected if not better. We enjoyed the views from the windows in all rooms and especially from the hot tub. The castle is lit up at night which adds a great background when relaxing in the bubbles. The open plan kitchen lounge and dining room layout of the house was ideal for us with kids. The house was lovely and clean and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was exactly as described and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was booked for my wife’s 50th birthday and what a venue!

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

Excellent cottage with great walking options right from the doorstep. Remote setting in stunning scenery makes this a fantastic choice for a Welsh get-away.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again in the future.

My stepdaughter and I spent an amazing week over Christmas and it was every bit as we imagined it would be. We took our 2 dogs with us and spent days at the dog friendly beaches near by. It was all so picturesque and peaceful. Would recommend it 100%

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

Holly and the team made us feel very welcomed. The coach house was a great base in the area with a lovely outlook from the garden for our family and two dogs. Easy access to the main road as well to get to the local beaches.

The house was so much more spacious than expected and was a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful clean beaches and pretty towns and villages. There was a lovely welcome gift of wine , tea & stoopwaffles. Everything was catered for with cooking equipment including brand new airfryers. The beds were clean & comfortable.Would definitely recommend & use again in the future.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

Great spacious property, with all mod cons required. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable beds. Walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place, this was our third stay. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to switch off and unwind.

When you arrive at The Cors Country House you are met with the absolute "wow" factor. Just entering the porperty and driving down the long beautiful private driveway is in itself breathtaking. Then when you get inside and see the beautiful rooms and the stunning views from the bedrooms of the well kept gardens you cant help but feel like youre somewhere special. It was my mums 70th birthday getaway for our family and was everything we wanted and more. We all had such an amazing time, the bedrooms were just gorgeous and the children loved the attick room. Great family lounge area where we could all sit down and talk and play games. I cannot say enough good things!

This house is magnificent - a feast for the eyes if you enjoy this period of architecture. The house is enormous and but warm and comfortable at the same time. Great Welsh Escapes could not have done more to make our stay more special. Can throughly recommend! Will be looking to see what other properties this agency look after because they really are the best!

Place is very big, nice, cozzy and clean. Just check-in is late and check-out is early. Worth the money.

An absolutely fantastic, well thought out home that caters for all your needs. Every room has been so carefully crafted, providing all you could possibly need, exactly where you need it. The bedrooms with en-suite were spacious, including a huge master bedroom with a huge en-suite, very impressive. The kitchen was a joy to work in with so much utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, pots and pans galore. Outside was a large hot tub where you could relax and enjoy the splendid scenery, boats, water, a castle, quite incredible. Worth every penny and more.

We loved our weekend away at Maes Y Mel and will definitely be coming back in years to come! Our hosts Buddug and Lloyd were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. It was like a home away from home with all the amenities we needed to relax. Such a beautiful and tranquil location away from all noise and distractions. Thank you for hosting us, we had a fantastic time away in Wales.

Everything was perfect

We really loved our long weekend at Footprints. The flat is gorgeous, very comfy and incredibly well equipped. We made the best of the weather with a few walks on the coastal path, some time on the beach and we even braved a sea swim. And then when it got really stormy we felt lovely and cosy in the cottage and enjoyed watching the dramatic weather from window - what a view! We loved the flat and the location, and there's lots of fantastic local eateries as well. We shall be back! :)
